The location was perfect for us! Main shopping street with lots of bars and restaurants around. Very close to the subway station and the opera house - which should not be missed!. Free Wifi and breakfast. The breakfast was very good - especially a blueberry yogurt!! The waiters were very friendly - it was really nice having such nice ladies...

We moved to this hotel because the hotel we had booked was full. We got a spacious room with bath tub. It was so newly renovated that we could smell the fresh painting. It was therefore very clean. One small problem was that the toilet and the bathroom were in to different rooms. The toilet had no sink, so you...

Clean spacious room with comfortable bed and linens. Friendly and helpful staff. The included breakfast provided a wide range of options and served in a lovely dining room. Mid winter stay in this hotel. Perfect location close to Karnterstrasse, cafes, museums, shopping, tourist sites and U-bahn. Was easy to get to from the airport with U-bahn so close and to get to the train station the next day to get across the country. Was on 7th floor (highest) with brilliant views across rooftops. We booked the hotel on the internet and paid in advance (i never use a credit card). The location of the hotel is superb and that also is the one and only plus. At arrival (i was cold, sick and tired) the receptionist had to cash another 30 euro's for guarantee. Since i only had 15 it was not enough...

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
