Staff very helpful and friendly, the rooms at the front can have some road noise, easy access to transport links, some good restaurants, There are a few steps into hotel and the lift which can make suitcases a little tricky. The afternoon coffee and cake is a great idea and very enjoyable after sightseeing

Excellent all around. Five star service, attractive facility, excellent bathroom with good shower, great location to the old town, comfortable, clean. They even supply free cake and coffee from 3-6pm. Excellent coffee and tasty breakfast. This place has it all and I can't recommend it enough.

location excellent. walking distance to the subway and to the town center. Breakfast was not lavish but acceptable but service in the restaurant was excellent. Rooms were quite small but well equipped and clean. No restaurant in the hotel though

We were a group of 3 couples who stayed in this nice small hotel. Aside from the great location, the staff were very accommodating (from the front desk to the breakfast staff). The rooms were clean and modern. The breakfast was good. This is a good place to stay in Vienna if you want to be in a hotel which...

Enjoyed a 4day/3 night stay in Vienna at Hotel Capricorna. Good, clean hotel in a great location opposite the Danube canal. Hop on hop off bus stops nearby as are trams, buses and underground. Staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended

A really comfortable modern hotel. Delicious breakfast and lovely touch with the complimentary afternoon cake. Facilities excellent and all the sights are within walking distance of the hotel. From the outside it looks a little grim bit the area is fabulous for bars and food. Recommend.

The best 'continental' breakfast I've ever had. Included freshly made eggs, lots of varieties cheese, meats, pastries, juices and breads. The breakfast team were incredibly friendly and the hotels location is great.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
