Lovely small hotel, very well situated only few minutes walk to Opera House and very near good transport. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Breakfast had a very good selection. Rooms were comfortable and clean.

The hotel does not have a grand reception but the receptionists were very helpful. When asked they supplied us with the names and nearby locations of high quality restaurants serving traditional Viennese dinners at reasonable prices.

Very centrally located and easy to find. It's near a major metro station which makes getting around the city fairly easy. There's also a nice market right across the street where you can find anything from coffee to snacks to places to have a meal. Rooms at the hotel are clean and well kept. It's definitely a boutique hotel so...

Lovely 3-star hotel just off the Opernring. A decent location right next to a main U-bahn station, with the famous Naschtmarkt right at the end of the street. Stayed in a standard double which was cosy but not too small, and the staff were always very helpful. Breakfast was included and was your usual continental fare but very nice. Decent...

Hotel Beethoven My wife and I loved Hotel Beethoven and recommend it strongly. The location is fantastic. It's right next to the Naschmarkt with its plethora of eating places and within 5 minutes of the Karlsplatz transport hub, but it's quiet. And for those into musical history it's immediately facing the Theater am der Wien where Beethoven lived for a...

Dear guest, I am very happy that you liked the Beethoven & enjoyed your stay the way you espected! Thank you very much for your kind words! Concerning the "warning" - after your suggestion we changed the wording immediately - the least we want is to confuse our guests or make them feel unconfortable! Beside that we are always here...

Stayed here with my husband for 3 nights. The hotel staff are helpful and kind. You can even buy the local train tickets from their concierge with no additional surcharge. The train station is about only two short blocks away from the hotel. My only wish is that they change the pillows in the rooms as I found them too...

We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay in this very conveniently located hotel. It's located near the Naschmarkt, Secession Museum and tram stops. Our room was quiet, comfortable and the AC very much appreciated during an unusual heat wave. The hotel was tastefully decorated, clean and welcoming. The morning breakfast buffet was extensive and tasty. The staff were friendly and...

My wife and I stayed here for three splendid nights. The rooms are spacious, airy and very clean. The hotel is quiet. The breakfast room has a grand piano and recorded music written by the maestro plays quietly at all hours. The service is first rate. Hotel Beethoven is in a quiet street although only just off a busy road leading to the Ringstasse and Staatsoper, so very well positioned. Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.

Hotel Beethoven – Lovers of Vienna welcome The 4-star Hotel Beethoven lies ensconced in culture and cuisine on the “bohemian“ Naschmarkt, opposite the Papagenotor at Theater an der Wien, just a few minutes’ walk from the Opera, the Musikverein, the Museumsquartier, the most traditional Viennese coffeehouses and shopping streets. 4-star hotel situated on Vienna’s NaschmarktThe location of the 4-star Hotel Garni on the Naschmarkt lets lovers of Vienna dive right into the typical Viennese lifestyle. The market, with its dozens of little stalls and selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and specialities, is a colourful and lively snapshot of Vienna, which is even more varied on Saturdays, with the farmer’s and flea market. In addition to the restaurants and cafés around the Naschmarkt, a trendy restaurant and bar scene has developed in the market area. Coupled to cultureThe culturally committed Ludwig family, which owns the hotel, sponsors numerous Viennese cultural institutions, such as the Albertina, the Mumok and the Musikverein and inspires lovers of Vienna to special cultural delights: invitations to previews, exhibition openings, museum visits and preferential ticket orders at the Musikverein. ... more   less
