Hotel Beethoven Wien is in a great location very close to heart of city yet is a quiet and very comfortable hotel. Great breakfast, wonderful and helpful staff. Live classical music on Sunday night a real treat.

Comfortable hotel in excellent location within easy walking distance to city sights. Friendly & helpful staff, clean & comfortable rooms - highly recommended. Standard rooms are small and suggest upgrade to superior room if you need bag space. We would stay again.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Reception staff very helpful and the use of a computer and printer was brilliant for printing off boarding cards for rerun journey. Very comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast.

Spent 2 night here. Beethoven is a very comfortable hotel. Rooms are larger than most European hotels. Breakfast was great. Lots to choose from whether you enjoy eggs and bacon or a typical European spread. Bedding is good, bed and pillows are comfortable. Close to subway station and a half block from the Naschmarkt. Plenty of food choices here but... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and the location is great. It also has a nearby pay parking. We were fortunate to experience live free concert when we checked in. The room we were in was uniquely designed and naschmarkt is just a few hundred meters away!

The location is perfect...near the city center, yet quiet and tucked away on a side street. The staff is wonderful...so accommodating and professional. The breakfast buffet was superb with an amazing variety of choices. The room amenities were fairly standard, but the entire hotel was squeaky clean at all times. An unexpected pleasure was the Sunday concert in the dayroom...two... More

Location is good as fairly near centre, on top of the Naschmarkt, walkable to city centre, but still fairly quiet. Room was well appointed and spacious. We were on the 5th floor. Only disappointment was that there was no shower in room, which doesn't suit us. They did offer us an alternative Room the second night onwards, but we decided... More

A great hotel located close to the subway and to the historic centre - very near the opera house making it a good base to explore the city. Rooms are very nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast buffet offers a lot of choice.

The hotel is in an ideal location close to the Secession Building and across the street from both the Theater an der Wien and the Naschmarkt. It is comfortable, spotless and a hot/cold breakfast buffet offers an excellent start to the day. During our stay we really enjoyed a free classical concert early on Sunday evening with a first-rate pianist... More

This is simply a superb hotel. It is very comfortable, clean and bright. The staff are amazing and so very friendly and helpful. Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.

Hotel Beethoven – Lovers of Vienna welcome The 4-star Hotel Beethoven lies ensconced in culture and cuisine on the “bohemian“ Naschmarkt, opposite the Papagenotor at Theater an der Wien, just a few minutes’ walk from the Opera, the Musikverein, the Museumsquartier, the most traditional Viennese coffeehouses and shopping streets. 4-star hotel situated on Vienna’s NaschmarktThe location of the 4-star Hotel Garni on the Naschmarkt lets lovers of Vienna dive right into the typical Viennese lifestyle. The market, with its dozens of little stalls and selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and specialities, is a colourful and lively snapshot of Vienna, which is even more varied on Saturdays, with the farmer’s and flea market. In addition to the restaurants and cafés around the Naschmarkt, a trendy restaurant and bar scene has developed in the market area. Coupled to cultureThe culturally committed Ludwig family, which owns the hotel, sponsors numerous Viennese cultural institutions, such as the Albertina, the Mumok and the Musikverein and inspires lovers of Vienna to special cultural delights: invitations to previews, exhibition openings, museum visits and preferential ticket orders at the Musikverein. ... more   less
