This Hilton hotel was superb. Everything was exceptionally clean, staff very polite and friendly. We had access to the Executive Lounge which was a fantastic facility offering local delicacies and drinks available all day. Staff were very attentive to our needs and would go out of their way to help.

Brilliant location. Only a short walk from the city center. Tube not far away either. Staff very friendly and helpful. They booked us a taxi when we left and were always happy to answer any questions we had. Hotel was very clean and modern. Lovely rooms. Room service was good too. Breakfast choice was great. There was a buffet but...

We spent a week in this Hilton while my husband attended a mid-week conference at the hotel. Initially I was disappointed not to be staying in an old and charming building in the heart of the city, but I came to appreciate the space, luxury and retreat-like calmness of our room at the Hilton. The hotel is ideally located. It...

We had 3 nights in the hotel, nice location not far away from the attractions, around 10 -15 minutes walk to city center. Furniture new, clean and the room service is good. Lobby is nice place to stay at. Staff are friendly, the concierges are extremely helpful, however no one helped us with our luggage while checking in. i wouldn't...

This Hilton Hotel is in a very good location. It is close enough to walk to major sites and easy access to trams and buses. I found the staff to be exceptionally helpful. The breakfast buffet was very, very good and service here was also very good. Our room was roomy and convenient. Although we had to move because of...

This is the best Hilton I've come across so far. The hotel is fresh and modern with a trendy 1920's twist! The ample rooms are adequately furnished and very comfortable. All the essential amenities are provided and are actually pretty good in quality too. The staff at the hotel are very helpful and always smiling which adds to the overall...

To provide context, my husband (Diamond member - so Executive Lounge upgrades) and I have stayed at least three nights each in Hiltons in Athens, Berlin, Prague (Old Town), Budapest (City) and Vienna (Plaza) within the past 3 years. Though we've enjoyed every stay and each property has its strong points, overall the Hilton Vienna Plaza was our favorite. The...

We enjoyed our stay here. Good room on 7th floor. Within easy walking distance of monuments and the main town. Tram and underground station stops are just outside if you want to go further afield. We ate in the hotel the first night and the food was pretty good. Service in the restaurant was always with a smile and very...

A typical U.S. type business hotel. Lobby full of people and not very relaxing. We were on the Executive Floor where the room was pretty ordinary. The "free" food was similarly ordinary.... nothing special or Austrian about it. Similarly, the general level of service was curiously not directed at helping tourists. Maybe all of this is to be expected since...

We stayed at this hotel as part of a land tour. The rooms were lovely, the breakfast was very good, the location was perfect. My only suggestion for improvement is that the hotel did not have a concierge, and the front desk staff were not particularly helpful -- not for lack of desire to be. They just didn't seem knowledgeable...

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighbourhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighbourhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
