We dont normally stay in Hostels, but this seemed to be a good option as Vienna is quite expensive and we wanted to be rather central. You can pretty much walk to most of the central sights. The next subway is ten minutes walk and from there you get everywhere quite quickly. Airport would be about 45 minutes I guess....

The thing we realized after staying in this hostel is that we should have slept on the street rather than checking into it. The reception was unfriendly, the rooms were dirty and what we took away with from the hostel was a bad feeling and, what we realized a few days later, scambies ! This stay was an overall failure...

We went with a group of almost 60 people. The stuff was sometimes a little grim, but mostly very helpful. 2, 4 and 6 bed rooms are available in 2 buildings, most of them sunny but warm. The rooms are absolutely clean, bath and common spaces somewhat worse. Code keys give absolut security to the rooms. The Burgring and Mariahilfer...

I randomly picked the Jugendherbege on Myrthengasse out of all the Hostels in Vienna. Travelling during the non-peak season, getting place was no trouble, but I do remember the very helpful gentlemen at the Front Desk who gave me good advice on everything from the Vienna Card to Mobile connections. The rooms are big with comfortable beds and clean linens.There...

This place is pretty ideally located as far as hostels go in Vienna with it being only about 10-15 minute walk to the center. There's a grocery store nearby for some quick shopping and some cheap eats in the vicinity of the hostel. The breakfast offered by the hostel is probably one of the best I've had in almost 2...
