This hotel is not suitable for anyone with a disability. It is quite a distance from the center of Vienna and I had to be moved to another hotel as Jet 2 told me this hotel would be suitable for me. I ended up in the Hilton in the center of the City which is simply gorgeous.

We (2adults + 3,5 year old daughter) arrived into this hotel after midnight. We were extremely well welcomed and room that was given us was even too big - it had two rooms with beds. Reception was quite informative and helped us to get a parking ticket at night. So it was possible to sleep a bit longer in the...

Nicely renovated boutique hotel - K&K style; room was very nice with chandelier and a big bathroom with bathtub; staff was polite and attentive in particular at the breakfast buffet; buffet was over average compared to the hotel size; located next to the "shopping street" Maria Hilferstrasse; underground station in five mins walking distance; nearby garage for your car is...

Found it via Hotwire, and had 5 nights there with a nice price. The hotel is located perfectly in a side street from Mariahilffer strasse, which is in my opinion the best location in Vienna. Underground station is within a minute walk, and historic center is 2.5km away. The rooms are spacious and simple. Everything was clean. Only thing is...

We got a great deal on this hotel hence booking. As hotels go, i have no complaints with the accommodation at all. The room was a good size, clean, tidy and very comfortable. The bathroom was also a good size and had a good shower. The staff were really helpful on the 2 occasions we asked for some advise on...

We ended up here because it had the best value for money on our dates, according to what we've read online. It did not fail our expectations. Small on the outside, but once you're in, you can't help wondering how large and spacious the hotel is. We got a room on the last floor, and the windows were located quite...

Hotel is good standard, reasonable price, very well placed for tourism and short business trips. Only downside is that there is no parking available and the garage next door is very conveniently located indeed but at 20 Euro a night very expensive. Keep this in mind.

Stayed here for the first weekend of February 2017. We arrived at around 12:30 PM. The room was not ready, so we stored our luggage in the hotel and went outside which is a shoppers paradise. The hotel is just one minute from the main shopping street in Vienna. All the shops are closed on sunday and closes at 6...

Characterful old building, nice room with chandelier, great shower, excellent location, more than reasonable price - and very friendly and helpful staff. Very good experience. I only wish I had stayed for longer.

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
