Excellent quality. Good value for money. The location is great for sightseeing. 2 minutes from metro station, 3 minutes the shuttle to the airport in Sweden Platz, 5 minutes, the church of St. Stephen! All the rooms are clean and silenzione, even those on the side of Hollandstraße. I've been in this hotel at least 5 times and was always...

The hotel is situated only a 5' to 10' walk from the St Stephan Cathedral. On your way you will find a lot of bars and restaurants ranging from the inevitable McDonald's to taverns serving genuine Wiener meals at very democratic prices. As a downside the best most popular touristic attractions are located a little further away. The hotel itself...

Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is delicious, stuff is extremely helpful, location is very good. The only two problems: wi-fi didn't work inside the room (but did work in public areas even in corridors), the entry door to room are hard to close (need to check that it is really closed before leaving)

Pretty standard Mecure rooms. Well kept and clean. Access to town was also easy and convenient. Very good value. However, service was a let-down. Checked in just past 8pm and there was only one service staff. She was the only one on duty and had to check guests in, take orders for the bar, answer phone calls, preparing drinks.... and...

Spent a few nights in this hotel. Good location, not far from the city's centre. Good price, but here are the reasons why I will not come back: - poor signal of wireless, resulting in being disconnected every 5 minutes. Hotel is also providing wired internet access but unfortunately I had no laptop - tv with lot of local channels...

The hotel is an an excellent location - just 5 minutes walk across one of the Danube bridges into the heart of the city centre. As an added bonus, the airport bus stops very near to the hotel, which is wonderfully convenient for your arrival and departure. The room was comfortable, there was a marvellous selection of food for breakfast...

We stayed here for three nights in late October. I booked early and received a very good price of 89 €/night. For that price the hotel was excellent. We were very impressed by the staff. They smiled, were polite, offered their help, restaurant recommendations, calling a taxi for us, whatever imaginable. They all also spoke at least three languages. The...

Very good location: close to the city's centre and less than 30-miniutes drive distance from airport by car. Minimalistic but quite good and comfortable rooms. Free Internet, rather good breakfasts, very friendly and helpful staff. Actually, very good hotel for a business traveller. Good value for money.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
