It seems hardly possible, but Hotel Sacher seems to improve on perfection! Best location, luxurious rooms with every thoughtful amenity, genuinely warm and efficient staff with personalized attention to its guests! My all time favorite hotel! This has been my 4th visit and I am already looking forward to the next!

Just spent two nights here on mix of pleasure and business. Outstanding hotel - beautiful room on 7th floor; excellent dinner in Rote Bar; great drinks in Blaue Bar although we skipped this time the impressive and huge breakfast and had a light one in Cafe Sacher. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is brilliantly positioned just behind...

The Sacher Hotel is excellent. It thoroughly deserves the excellent ratings it receives. Our list of outstanding features included: Very helpful check in person (Manuel?) who checked us in very quickly, spoke excellent English and took us to our room giving us a tour of the hotel and an explanation of the room. Wonderful room - especially shower and bath....

This is a great luxury hotel next to the opera house and Hofburg palace. The staff was very attentive, the Red Room restaurant had Austrian food but with a modern twist. The breakfast was top notch. The suite we had was average size but nicely decorated. When we arrived there were rose petals on the bed cover , chocolate and...

From the moment Ronald helped us with our suitcases into the hotel we experienced non stop care and attention. We booked the trip for my wife's birthday and it turned out to be a memorable experience. Excellent breakfast in the hotel - continental or cooked, with champagne if you wanted it. Other meals in the hotel or next door at...

This feels so unassuming in the way that great hotels once operated when discretion, comfort and service were relied upon by consumate Palace regulars. No modern extravagance or demanding screams - although they would seemingly be well managed by the impeccably polite - yet very friendly - staff. What should decide you to stay there, is the institution. The Sacher...

The only bad thing about this hotel is the price of the rooms, but they are according to the comfort you get. The hotel is spendid from the entrance to the last corner, very elegant and with style. The rooms are big and comfortable and beautifully furnished, the bathrooms are gorgeus and have everything you need. The bed is very...

The place oozes atmosphere, there are friendly, helpful, knowledgable staff and a truly delicious breakfast. There are so many positives it is hard to know what to mention but we must single out Thomas P at the front...

Historic, quaint and luxurious, a genuine pleasure. The "Blue Bar" is a little jewel box. The staff made my stay truly exceptional. They were as accommodating as humanely possible. the TV in the mirror in the bath didn't work, and for my inconvenience I was awarded a luscious Sacher Torte, a welcome trade-off. The concierge even managed to procure FRONT...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
