This hotel was absolute perfection by every standard. We arrived at 9 am and were nicely reminded that check in was 2 pm and since the hotel was filled the night before, we were told that our room would not be ready until then. Perfectly understandable. We wandered around and came back around noon to get our tablets from our...

If you go to Vienna, you have to come to this place. The hotel is fantastic and everything that comes with it. Not a single complain. And yes, the Sacher cake is very close ;) One thing that is very important to me is the sleep quality and I had no issues with noise of any kind. Hotel location is...

Everything about this hotel exudes class and attention to detail. The staff, the food, the world-famous Sacher Torte in the lovely cafe (as residents we didn't have to wait in the mid-afternoon queue that extended onto the street), the room ... everything was exemplary! You instantly feel like you're in an establishment steeped in history and culture. I would return...

Perfection ! personal service and quality in every way. Best Massage ever in spa . Room luxurious and tastefully designed. Breakfast fantastisk and. atmosphere very international and cosy. Near all the museums and shopping. Advise local restaurants for dinner near by (taffelspitz) or Albertine museum restaurant ,for lighter menus.,if Wiener schnitzel and Gulasch is no longer tempting.

Stopped by as heard many great things about this hotel. Only breakfast now. Setting was beautiful and so was the service with lots of variety to choose from but... Change those tiny little food labels. Font is way too small to read. Austrian version is ok to read if you speak German but English way too tiny. Had to pick...

Vienna is wonderful but the trip was perfected by staying at The Sacher hotel. Hotel Sacher was an amazing hotel to spend the first few nights of our honeymoon. The staff was kind and gave great recommendations for things to do around the city. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, and we were walking distance from basically everything we wanted to do. We also LOVED the lobby decor and the blue bar; the place...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
