Legendary hotel, just in front the Opera (Staatsoper), near the Ring, the Hofburg, Albertina Museum,... Comfort 5*. The windows have triple isolation (but the area, despite its location, is not very noisy and the traffic around very reasonable), the marble soil is heating in the bedroom, television on the main mirror that you can watch from the bath (of course...

It is the most famous hotel in Vienna, a stay at this small beautiful jewel of a hotel is a must-do experience. From the Concierge to the Front Desk, the staff was unfailingly helpful, friendly and polite (the ticket for La Traviata we god as well ). It exuded a very special aura and we were made to feel welcome....

After a long day of travel, it was blissful to be greeted by the inimitable doorman Ajiri Mislimi and escorted into the lobby; I felt as if I had walked into a gem. Although refurbishments have taken place over the years, much of the hotel built by Anna Sacher in 1857 remains to be enjoyed. Upon completing the registration process,...

Everyone on staff at this exemplary hotel represents the polished hospitality espoused by the Sacher's matriarch, Anna Sacher, who believed that her hotel was the grand salon for the cultural life of Vienna. And it still is.

A nice place in the centre of Vienna. The staff was average- expected more for the location. The tables are pretty small outside so it's not really fitting for a larger group, but if you would like to have a cup of tee with a friend or two-suitable.

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
