I spent 6 nights at the Ibis during a business trip in Vienna. Overall I had a very convenient stay at a very good price for Vienna standards. Room: I stayed in 1204, facing the station, not that much noise from the street, spacious enough for 1 person with some great view Service: Very helpful, polite and fast, the hotel...

Hotelroom was clean and bed excellent. Breakfast was good. Staff was helpful, When we need help. The hotel restaurant was for smokers and we had to drink our drinks in the lobby. But thats the way in Austria.

We have booked 2 rooms for 2 nights and were highly satisfied. Knowing this hotel we did not expect much as this is more business style hotel with no activities, however the hotel is clean and the location is excellent. If you need to find the place to sleep only and you spend most of the day outside, this is...

Room including bathroom was good size, very clean and well maintained. Had great views over the city. Air con was great and worked perfectly. Room was serviced each day. Staff were pleasant enough, nothing outstanding though and upon checkout didn't ask if everything was ok. I did object to €20 deposit for iron, especially as a Reward Member. Also it...

Awsome location just 5 mins on foot & 1 tram stop away from Westbahnhof. Also 50 m away from Tram stop, infact tram stops just at the hotel. However, AC was not working as expcted & was suffocating at times. Also no SAFe to put in your valuables. thats a missing point

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
