Good location which near to Vienna Westbahn with a shopping mall(train station,6 mins walking) and Mariahilf Gurtel tram station( in front of hotel main entrance). You can find food and supermarket easily. Room is quite big and cozy, only 2 negative points are NO KETTLE IN ROOM and the building is old. Although they allowed us to take hot water...

We stayed for 6 nights at the Ibis Mariahilf Hotel near the Vienna Westbanhof. Because plans changed we had to make two reservations, one for 1 night and the other for 5 nights. We checked in for one night on the first reservation but were able to check out and back into the same room on the second night. The...

Our stay in Vienna lasted only two nights, but it was enough to explore the city's major attractions and feel its climate. Hotel Ibis Wien Mariahilf was our safe harbour where we could refresh after long and interesting trips. Professional service, modern interior, cozy rooms perfectly complemented our stay.

Good location if you want to go to Mariahilfer street. Noisy church near by there was some happening one morning and a lot of noise but only in one morning. Reception staff called to the room and try to hurry up going to checkout faster, didn't find this attitude friendly and got no idea why. If you want early Checkin...

Exceptional nice and helpful desk staff. Maid service perfect. Rooms very practical layout and good beds. Great location, public transportation at front door. Air conditioning system does not work well, and it's flashing control panel light is annoying.especially at night.

We travel 2 to 3 times a year and since 2012 we have always booked Ibis through Accor In Vienna, Budapest & Bregenz. This time from Sunday 7 to 8 May we would extend our stay by 1 day and paid more than 30% than our son for the same, despite our ACCOR & our son's NOT ACCOR! It's useless...

I'm, my wife and granddaughter 11 years old. Everything was fine. The room is clean, linen and towels are without claims. The staff is friendly. The location of the hotel is very good. There are wishes: Too soft pillows, I was very uncomfortable. If in room there was the smallest refrigerator - it would be magnificent. Breakfast is quite expensive....

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Mariahilf
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
