Beautiful historic building. Great location. Overlooks the opera house and steps to many of the city's main sights. Spacious rooms. High ceilings. Good breakfast buffet. Decent wifi. Coffee in rooms. Small, but well-appointed, gym. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel in March 2017. Everything was above our expectations, starting from checking in, which was efficient and very friendly. The room was large with high ceilings in old style with modern amenities. Large bathroom with high quality toiletries. Do not miss buffet breakfast served in a beautiful restaurant.

Returning to any hotel that you have frequented after a gap provokes some nerves. Has it changed? Will they remember me? Will my happy memories be damaged? The Bristol always simply does it better. When it changes it goes further, higher and always with elegance, charm and warmth. It defines what a fine hotel in the centre of a great...

The Bristol was flawless for me. I stayed on the 2nd floor in a room with a balcony. The room itself, the amenities, the view of the Vienna State Opera House... all of it was outstanding. This hotel is the perfect blend of historic plus comfortable, modern amenities. It's a truly beautiful place. The location is basically unbeatable next door...

The best service ever. Very nice and professional people. The bed and pillows were awesome. Champagne in the room. The bar was wonderful. The cocktails, the best of all. I travel a lot for business and this is probably the best stay that I have had in years.

One of the highlights of my 3rd european trip is Vienna where I enjoyed both opera and orchestra. I am happy I made the right choice of staying with Hotel Bristol. They were very understanding about the timing of opera and made a quick less-than-five-minute check-in. I was on time to see the opera. The view in my room was...

It was a pleasure to stay in a hotel which had not been renovated to within an inch of its life. The staff were throughout a pleasure, not subservient but professionals. The rooms were spacious and light (we had de luxe rooms), without any design chi-chi and being overstuffed. Breakfast was varied, although the green tea was rather boring, but...

Just arriving alone at this beautiful hotel is enough for me personally. The staff welcomes you immediately but not to pushy. They offer to help with luggage and so on. Front desk staff caring and nice! The roomes are in very well shape, I got an upgrade free of charge to a lovely room facing the opera which I highly...

I had travelled to many countries in a territory between USA and Japan. This was definitely one of the best experiences I ever had in my 46 years of lifetime. There were some facilities which were better in some means, or some others in different means. However, when I look at the overall picture, such words can easily be said:...

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
