The hostel has a perfect location five minutes away from the Westbahnhof (metro, trams, buses), small cafes, pubs, shops and the number 5 tram stopping directly outside!! Friendly and helpful receptionists with a great command of English. The rooms are very clean and large with beautiful and comfortable beds. Toilets and showers are shared but very clean in all areas....

We stayed 3 nights. The staff is very friendly. Rooms, bathroom, and showers are kept very clean! The breakfast for 8 € is great with eggs and good coffee. The common room is cozy with access to a computer and sat tv. Wifi access was good. The tram stops right in front of the building and many restaurants are stone...

I and a friend stayed here in a twin room on a Saturday night in October 2014. It was a within 5 minutes walking distance from the nearest subway station. I was delighted to find the room very clean, quiet (although street facing), and stocked with bath towel. Since I forgot to bring my travel adapter, it was another delight...

I only stayed for one night after arriving late at night from the train station. It was safe enough to walk to and find. A lady was available to help me check in and give me some information. I had a private room with sink and shared bathroom. It was clean and spacious with a robe and towels provided. There...

Hostel is nice and the facilities are good. We were a bit optimistic to walk from city centre to hostel, would advise to take the metro (cheap and just around the corner). The room was nice and the hostel was quite. We arrived late at night, but wasn't a problem with checking in.

Kaiser 23 offers excellent accommodation for the budget-minded traveller in Vienna. This hostel has a great location just five minutes away from the Westbahnhof transport hub (intercity trains, underground metro, trams and buses). While many travellers will want to see Vienna's main sites, take time to explore the little streets around Kaiser 23: there are many small cafes, pubs ("beisls"),...

The place is clean enough, enough room to lay out the luggage for a reorganization. Bathroom is clean, shower booths were used by other guests in the same floor and they were fairly clean. Staff members speak good english, and the breakfast served there was great considering the price. Located near the train station(walking distance; metro also) and tram runs...

It´s near metro, the rooms were very nice and clean, although it´s a hostel, I can´t say one word against toilets and showers which were shared, because this house was really very clean. Breakfest was perfect and staff was nice and friendly. I was very satisfied and if I´ll go to Wiena, I´ll definitely choose Kaiser 23.

This hostel is has the advantage of being very close to the stadthalle, so it's perfect if you're going to see a concert. I had a single room with shared toilets, which was fine for a one night stay. The room was also clean and came with towels and a bathrobe, and the wifi was excellent. However, the downside was...
