The location of this hotel is second-to-none. Right at the heart of the Museum Quarter and a short walk to a number of good restaurants. My room had no air conditioning and a faulty window, making it warm and uncomfortable to sleep in. The room was quite dated in appearance, however it was clean. The complimentary shower and shampoo gels...

I really liked the location, near the museums quarter and the underground. There was no ac so the room got quite stuffy at night. Breakfast was adequate. The staff was friendly at times and other times quite rude. We added an extra night to our reservation and when we came back to the hotel they claimed we should have checked...

I was many times in Admiral hotel like a tourist and on business. I traveled many years to Vienna and often I used to stay here. Well, I must to say, that here is not very big rooms, but I can't find another hotel with so good location and price. Shortly - just good quality price place in Vienna center.

It is a bit dated and the room small but surprisingly there was a lift. The room was a bit small but the bathroom must be fairly newly renovated with a big tub. Most important of all, there is no aircon! The window was small and so even with it fully opened there was no circulation. We experienced this before...

The hotel may be is an old one. We stayed for 4 nights. They helped as a lot with an very early check in. We went to the hotel at 9:00 and they found us a room in a moment. And this was very helpful for us because we had a 16 months old baby with us. The breakfast was...

The Hotel Admiral is located in the Museum District and is central to most of the outstanding sights and museums this beautiful city offers. However, the hotel itself is very basic. Our room was a shoulder-wide King corridor with bath, toilet, and closet compartments on one side, hen opening up for two single beds and little else. No air conditioning...

The location was great, very close to the museums and Spanish riding school. Everything was within easy walking distance plus it had free wifi, clean rooms and a decent breakfast. You really can't ask for more for the price. I would definitely stay here again.

Location is excellent, steps away is Mariahilferstrasse, Museums Quartier, Theresien Platz, etc. Breakfast was plentiful, buffet. Heating was great, we had to dampen the valves on the radiators, and outside it was -8. Every day towels were changed. Excellent quality for the price.

We found the room nice and clean and large enough to accommodate myself and my two adult sons. There was a nice little eating area off of the lobby that served a European breakfast which was included in our room rate. One block from the Museum Quarter. Overall, very nice.

Neighbourhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins.
