The Schonbrunn is one of those iconic must-see attractions in Vienna. It is well worth the visit but you need to be prepared for long queues and crowded rooms. We had bought the Vienna Pass which gives free admission to the Palace but still had to queue for over 30 minutes in the Ticket Hall to obtain a timed entry...

It would be best experienced if one knew some of the history, but the tour of the palace and gardens can be enjoyed regardless, any time of year. It is a good idea to try to book one of the tours that has access prior to the general admission times. You have more time to appreciate the tour, and it's...

Beautiful castle with amazing paintings and very nice decorated rooms. In front of the Castle was also a nice Christmas Market with various traditional products (I visited the Castle on December). To visit the gardens was not an option because of the weather which was very cold and rainy. There were many visitors, so it would be a good option...

The interior is amazing ... It is worth the visit and dont be stingy and not take the complete tour rticket because you definitely have to see this Pa;ace. If you hav eever had a chance to visit Chateau du Versailles in France then you will be able to really relate the similarities and how the nobility used to live...

The Gardens are great but better to just enjoy it from the outside.... the audio tour was a disappointment with little information and few rooms to visit. If you study at a university where you student card does not have an expiry date (which is normal at least in the Netherlands), you will not be eligible for the student discount,...

A nice sunny day in Vienna should not pass without going to the beautifull gardens and mazes arround the magnificent castle. We have visited in Winter and it was astonishing I can only imagine it in Spring. Such a magnificent exterior arhitecture will live you breathless and small😉

Schonbrunn Palace is an impressive 1,441-room Baroque palace with an enormous French sculpted garden in the back. You can purchase a tour of several of the rooms inside the palace to give you an idea of how royalty lived. You can walk through the ample gardens which are lined with 32 sculptures representing deities and virtues without charge. While in...

Do we really need to write a review? It's probably the best palace i've ever visited. Audio guide is not too long and easy to understand. the gardens were beautiful We were just unlucky during our visit because the Gloriette was under maintenance, but still, overall the place it magnificent!

The Palace is amazing and it´s woth the money you pay for entrance. Steping into it is like making a time travel. The garden is also a must. Up from the Gloriette it´s a amazing view to the Palace and whole Vienna. I visit at least the gardens every time I´m in Vienna.

A must visit. Our second visit, first in 1974, and it is just as beautiful and well maintained, The rooms are simply spectacular. The gardens are extensive and well kept, unlike Versailles. There is so much to see. When you're tired, cool down with a glass of wine or beer at the restaurant just inside the gate and you have...
