Having been to Innsbruck before we deicide to book the Penz as we had admired it on the last trip. I am so glad we did. From the moment we arrived to the minute we checked out the whole experience was fabulous. Rooms warm and comfortable with plenty of space. Clean room and Bathroom, and the treat of a chocolate...

The location of the PENZ was perfect! It was about a block away from the craziness of the more touristy areas, but close enough that everything was needed was just a short walk away. The rooms were fantastic, probably the most comfortable beds we slept on while on our trip, and the heated floors in the bathrooms were a very...

Stayed in Innsbruck many times but our first time at the Penz. Cannot praise the staff highly enough always helpful and courteous. 5th Floor cocktail bar a must, just the best views from a barstool. Breakfasts are wide ranging and plentiful catering for all diets and tastes. The only slight negative we have, the room sizes are small and the...

I highly recommend this hotel. I do not usually usually pick such a modern looking hotel. But I don't regret staying at this one. There is nothing special about the lobby. The room is clean, modern and convenient. The highlight of the the hotel is, however, its breakfast room on fifth floor with amazing view. Breakfast offers wide varieties of...

We stayed at the Penz for 2 nights in December. Being so centrally located allowed us to explore as much of Innsbruck as possible within our limited time. It was always a relief (especially on a cold winter's night) to find the Penz just round the corner from the main shopping street. Another thing we absolutely adored was the architecture...

My wife & I stayed there for 3 might while at the Christmas Markets. This is a modern hotel right in the heart of the Old Town. Close to everything!!! Room was extremely comfortable albeit a tad small, which was no big deal. Service was wonderful. Pay attention here, the breakfast buffet is out of this world. I can not...

We stayed here for one night during our two week road trip throughout Eurpe. At this time we had left Verona earlier in the day and was on our way to Neuschwanstein Castle. It’s a haul you can do in one day, but we prefer shorter stints with more stops and we usually leave room for spur of the moment...

Spectacular hotel that seems built of glass. At night there is an incredible multi-story silk hanging that is visible from outside. During the day, the surrounding historical buildings are reflected in the glass. It is modern but fits with its surroundings. Rooms are stylish and comfortable. Lovely bathroom fixtures. Glass-walled lounge at night that is used for breakfast in the...

Nice big hotel to visit and it's based in center of city. Great location, it's in shopping center. Service is very welcoming and the food is also good. We will visit this hotel once again and very soon for sure.

We arrived there after a long road trip. We slept like babies. It is in the city but hotel was very quiet. Their breakfast buffet was excellent. There were many german style bakery products and cheese sorts.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
A glass palace with panorama views: in terms of furnishings, The Penz, located in the heart of Innsbruck, is not much different than other 4-star hotels. That special something is to be discovered on the fifth floor, where the bar and restaurant offer spectacular views of Innsbruck by night. ... more   less
