This camping is located in a lovely natural setting with beautiful views all around, still conveniently located for Salzburg city, the facilities are excellent, the pitches are large and comfortable, you choose the one you like, prices very reasonable, the staff helpful and friendly! Would go back!

I know it is Salzburg, and this site is handy for the city, but cold showers, and cold dish-washing, poor wifi, hidden water-taps, neighbours who squeeze their motorhome into your parking space, late-arrivals, and a cash only payment when the machine wasn't working - do you think I'll be back? Be careful on the approach road as we watched a...

We had an absolutely amazing stay here, and left with a really good feeling about the place and a willingness to recommend it to anyone. We arrived at about 6 pm, and were immediately greeted in fluent English by the lady on reception. She was then very happy to go back into German, and spoke with me in clear and...

When the owner takes your money (very expensive for what you get!), she is very friendly. But just ask a question or try to get advice, she snubs you or she is too busy to help you. If you complain, she turns ice-cold. Although it was a nice campsite, the bathrooms are not up to scratch, unclean, cold water, small,...

The owner was very helpful upon arrival and spoke good English. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay. In terms of activities, the site is the starting point of various walks up the mountain, it is about half an hour by bus into Salzburg and the rail links via the S-Bahn are good too. If you need to do...

I had to stay for two weeks, so I know my problems were not random one offs. I only stayed purely because it was close to friends who picked me up daily and to move would be a huge inconvenience to them. In my two weeks, I never had a hot shower, they ranged from mostly cold to rare barely...

I have been visiting Camping Aigen since 1967. The facilities have always been adequate. They don't have playgrounds or swimming pool, but that is a positive for us because it helps keep the place so peaceful and quiet. The restaurant/ shop has always been wonderful, and the hiking directly from the campground is great, as is the scenery.

It was August, I agree, there was a lot of people, but the quantity of bathrooms, showers, sinks is really not sufficient for so much people. The camping staff is nice and helpfull but they have to invest some money on facilities.

This place was amazing. It's right in the hills with hiking trails literally starting in the campsite. You get to see paragliders most days land in the field next to the site. The staff was very friendly, the food and drink were excellent and very fairly priced, and the bathrooms were always clean. The location is a little out there,...
