This is a very modern, sleek-looking hotel inside of a kind of nondescript exterior building. The rooms are very well designed. The WC is separate from the shower/bath, which is a good thing when everyone is trying to get ready to go out at the same time. The hotel is located on the "new" side of the river but everything...

With the help of on-line maps we walked (about 8 minutes) from Salzburg's main train station to this lovely hotel. The Hotel & Villa Auersperg is on what is appears to residential street but go the opposite direction from the train station and you are just adjacent to the heart of old Salzburg, close to the river and shopping, restaurants...

Very nice boutique hotel in great location. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfasts. Only complaint is limited menu rest of day. Clean, modern decor. Free use of umbrellas by front door which is useful in Salzburg.

Stayed at the main building with my husband and 2 boys (4 and 5 yrs old). We were alotted 2 rooms opposite each other which was fine given the lack of interconnecting rooms. First the negatives - the kids' room had a few issues. the telephone and tv dint work and they didnt manage to fix it during our stay....

We were in the Villa which is just the building next door. We were on third floor and we didn't hear a soul all week. The lift was next to our room...never heard it. We loved this hotel. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. We are typically rubbish Brits with zero language skills where everyone here spoke stunning English...

We walked from the train station and this was not too far and easy to find out way. We arrived to a very welcoming, friendly and helpful reception. They helped us with exactly where and what buses to catch etc. for our stay and gave some advice on where and what to do. The Salzburg card is highly recommended. The...

Bottom line: This boutique hotel is perfect. The Superior Room is unbelievable with all sorts of fine details thought of. From a cd player (like a bose) that has soothing selections of classical and piano music to separate bathrooms (2) one with a shower/tub and the other with the toilet and another sink to freshen up in. Slippers, Robes, Nespresso...

Lovely modern room in an old building along a quiet street. Awoken by bird song in the middle of a city, perfect! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at this hotel is amazing. Every taste catered for setting you up for a good walk through the old town and the climb up to the mönchsberg.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Salzburg in two old buildings. Loved the design of the rooms plus the "hidden" coffee machine. Breakfast was great and on a lovely June day the terrace was a lovely place to have it. My only complaint was that it took a long time to split the bill between the five of us and...
