You feel very special just stepping inside the lobby with such a big, generous warm welcome from quirky Rene. Thats hospitality at its best. Room was sparkling clean, sufficient space (not large) and comfortable and quiet. I'm a retired 5 star Hotel General Manager (Radisson Blu) so, whilst not 5 star(nor did I expect it) it was definitely 5 star...

We were welcomed with a smile and great local information by the front desk clerk. Our room was spacious and clean, with a great city view. Location enabled seeing all old city sights on foot. Received great local restaurant recommendations as well.

We wanted to explore Salzburg so we stayed overnight at Hotel Mozart in Sept 2016. We took the Westbahn Train from Vienna to Salzburg, a two and a half hours ride. The hotel is a 10-15 minute ride from the Salzburg train station. We got there around noon time on a Sunday, met by a very nice gentleman at the...

About a 20 minute walk from the main train station. Easy walk to Altstadt. Away from the intense tourist area--and Salzburg has a LOT of tourists. Nice rooms with good storage but no chairs. Nice lobby where you can get drinks. Helpful staff, especially Rene. As expected in Germany and Austria, rooms are exceptionally clean.Definitely recommended.

This hotel worked very well for us (backpacking couple) for the few days we were in Salzburg. Breakfast was included and very good. The hotel was clean and the rooms were very nice. The bathroom was modern and had lots of space. Within walking distance (for us) to most attractions. Would stay at again.

This hotel will satisfy all your needs in this wonderful city. You are made to feel so special. The proprietor and his wife are wonderful hosts and the front desk staff are outstanding. Rene is a hotel gem but so are all the staff. The location is an easy stroll to restaurants, the old town, the Mirabell gardens and not...

Like other reviewers, we are in love with Rene who made our stay so special. Nothing was too much trouble and his advice about restaurants, bus routes, sights to see and concerts was invaluable. Our room was massive and very comfortable. Breakfasts were excellent and the two women in the breakfast room were delightful. There was a lovely small lounge...

This hotel was perfect for us. We walked here and there from the hotel.. Parking was handy and arranged by the hotel. Breakfast was very nice served by two traditionally dressed and delightful young women. We especially appreciated Rene who greeted us warmly on the first afternoon and helped us with some special needs and information. When we commented on...
