Hotel is very centrally located, and considering the cost the hotel is perfect. Most importantly the staff was incredibly helpful, kind and a pleasure to speak with. Very charming and make you feel as comfortable as if you were at home.

We stayed in a family room for 4 and it was very comfortable and clean. The location was very close to the Mirabell gardens and a short walk to the lovely old town. (Note, there is a laundromat just down the street so we were able to drop off our laundry while we visited the beautiful fortress on the hill......

Location is excellent, central to everything literally. However it is basically a rather rustic old style hotel without modern ventilation and I had a minimally furnished room. Kinda reminds me of the residential colleges at my university 40 years ago - brings back memories.... Breakfast is provided but the menu seems the same for the 3 days I was there...

This is a great little boutique hotel situated two blocks from where they shot the Do Re Me segments of The Sound of Music. The hotel is an easy walk from most anything you'd like to see in the city. The service was great. They provide an outstanding breakfast and are more than happy to provide advice about restaurants and...

I traveled here for the weekend with my sister to visit around Salzburg and do the Sound of Music film tour. The meeting place for the tour was a five minute walk from the hotel, couldn't be more convenient! The hotel is also right across the river from all of the main Salzburg sites + square and even closer to...

I originally booked Motel One Salzburg-Mirabell but it was over-booked and upgraded me to here Hotel am Mirabellplatz for a night. They even paid the taxi fee for switching hotel. Hotel am Mirabellplatz is nearer to old town (5mins walk) and also just 15mins walk to main train station. Clean room and bed. Big room and wardrobe. Polite staff. Very...

I can't believe this place is rated four stars. Nice staff, helpful people but for the rest... Small room with outdated - and minimal - equipment and furnitures. Looks very much like a room in monastery. The bed was miserable, no other definition. This place needs a serious update.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Room was nice and cleaned everyday. Large room for 4 people to move around in compared to other 4 person rooms in Germany. Hotel is walking distance to all the sights of Salzburg. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 am and is very good with a large food selection to choose from.

Hotel am Mirabellplatz is fantastically central, so convenient for touring in and around Salzburg. I visited with my teenage daughter, and we shared a twin room which was pretty small and basic, but clean and comfortable; the power shower was very gratifying! Contrary to some of the TripAdvisor reviews I have read, we found the breakfast buffet really good: tremendous...
