This is a simple Catholic guesthouse and decoration accordingly with lots of Christian symbolism, crosses etc. but it is very charming and can make you feel at home away from home. My room did not have en suite bathroom, but I was the only one on the floor (top floor) and therefore did have it all to myself. Breakfast was...

We had a quad which was two rooms - quaint and pleasant considering it is hundreds of years old. High funky factor. Close to the funicular, fortress, Mozart dinner, and other old town sights. Definitely no frills but then we expected that. It was the most interesting accommodation of our vacation. Note it is cash only which forced a trip...

This pension is in the heart of old Salzburg and it was easy to get around town. We got there around 4pm and there was no one there. There was a envelop left for us with my name and a key in it. We had no map of the city and no information about what was going on the next...

I highly recommend you finding another place if you are looking for a cheap place to stay in Salzburg. This "bed and breakfast" is probably the worst place I have ever stayed in my life. The rooms are beyond small, no phone, no INTERNET, nothing. Some of the rooms don't even have an ensuite bath. The staff here is utterly...

This hotel is run by Christ the King College. We paid 85 EUR per night. The best thing about the hotel is it’s right in the heart of Salzburg at a rate cheaper than anywhere else. However, it is an old hotel and the rooms have minimal amenities. There was no TV or phone in the room. The room was...

Couldn't ask for a better location and the price is right. This is a dorm (except in summer I think) and not the most professionally run (but that adds to the charm). Breakfast a little thin, but would recommend it (to those who aren't looking for glitz-- we aren't!)

Loved this place. The location is great-right in with all the beautiful old squares, but tucked in a quiet corner (quiet other than church bells!) You can walk to all the main Salzburg sites from here. A bus stop with several bus lines is a short walk away. This hotel is in a 14th century building, which was another thing...

The location of this place is really great. It's right near the heart of Old Town. Some downsides were the small size of both my room (a single) and the shower. When I first saw the room, I was disappointed because it was so small. It had a great sink, though. As for the shared shower, it was so tiny...

We just returned from Salzburg and a stay in the Christ-Koenig Pension. The Pension's location is perfect for a feel of the Old City and, most pleasantly, no more than 50 meters from an excellent restaurant - St. Paul Stub. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. We had our own bath that was clean and modern. The...
