It is a really good starting point (you have a lot of things around) a good point to relax (sauna, swimming poll, green grass), good for sport people (you can rent really good electric bikes, tennis court, nearby is a cannyonig and wake boardind, good place to go hiking. We were family of five spending 3 nights here. The hotel is very nice. Our rooms were in the pink side building and looked very new and were big and had balcony. Bathroom was a bit funny, all out of plastic like the french formula 1 motels but spotlessly clean and functional. The beds were comfortable and the area dead...

We came for the weekend skiing in January and were quite warmly surprised by this little cosy hotel in the really small village Lainach. The rooms are big enough with a nice balconyl overlooking the village and the neighbouring mountains. The breakfast is served unfortunately only till 9:30. We were in the Margarethenbad Hotel in August as our hide out for hiking tours in the 'Hohe Tauern' National Park. We had a marvellous week in Lainach. The hotel is beautifully and peacefully situated. A nice lawn, swimming pool, several saunas and steambaths and a terrace to relax after a tour through Austria's highest mountains.
