Could not sleep well. Very warm in the room and hotel. Asked at the reception why the airco didn't work. Answer: it is not the season yet. Why do I pay for then? So tried with open window, but too much noise outside. So, never again!

Very friendly helpful staff. Spacious comfortable room, if a bit noisy at night because of a discotheque at the back of the hotel. Copious breakfast. Expensive parking facility. Within easy reach of eating places and public transport.

The location is nice. The old town and Schlossberg is within 10 minute walk. The staff at the reception were very friendly. The room though did not give a comfy feel because of the linoleum (!) flooring.

Dear Eugene R., thank you very much for your time to write and for sharing your impressions of your last stay with us. A special thank you also for your comments about the flooring; please note that we do not have carpets anymore due to hygienic reasons but we will equip the rooms with small carpets now. The Mercure Graz is in an excellent location 800 m etres from the main station serviced by two bus lines. A feww hundred metres from the old town and excellent shoping and sightseeing. The lift to the top of the hill overlooking the old town offers great views. There is a cafe with excellent light menu

Friendly, clean, good food, great location. Hotel is easy to be reached from the train station (only 2 or 3 bus stops) and then the city center of Graz is just 10 minutes walking (5 minutes to the 'Kunsthaus', then cross the Mur river and you are there). Modern, clean guest rooms, good breakfast quality and variety (could be a...

I would say, that I did expect a bit more from 4**** property... Hotel was booked last minute: 2 times x 2 nights each. Being a Gold Accor member I was expecting something "nice" from the hotel, especially due to Christmas period. However, nothing has been offered, even welcome drink, which should be a part of Gold privileges. Lady at...

The area around the hotel wasn't all that appealing, but it was safe and it was in walking distance from the railway station and to the old city. It was an interesting hotel that reminded me of a ski lodge. The hallways had that plastic layer that one finds in playgrounds and the room had vinyl wood like flooring. The...
