We stayed two nights here in July and had a nice room. It is not oversized but was clean, comfortable, quiet and with good light. The bathroom was adequate (w/ a shower within the bathtub). The owners and employees were friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy walking distance to the main square and this lovely town. This is a... More

We stayed in Steyr one night here, picking it almost at random. It was an easy walk to the river(s) and main downtown area and right next to the main church which was unfortunately closed due to ?construction. The room was dated and nothing special, but was comfortable. It was a bit loud being on a main street. We enjoyed... More

We stayed one night in June but should have stayed more. We really liked the wonderful old town of Steyr and the Hotel S was comfortable and the food excellent - particularly eating lovely local produce in the courtyard garden restaurant. The service was very friendly and helpful and we felt like we were guests of the family Postle.

On the edge of the old town of Steyr and close to train station, walking takes 20 minutes. Breakfast copious served in the fine weather on a terrace with view of the mountains. I can recommend this... We were very fortunate to have stayed here, and we were very pleased with everything. We were in Steyr during Christmastime. Right outside our window was a beautiful Christmas Tree. The rooms were modern, clean, very comfortable, with all the convienences. As well, The windows were soundproof, and outside traffic did not disturb our restful sleep. The location is fabulous,... We stayed here for one night close to Christmas. We knew nothing about Steyr but ended up here due to the proximity of the Nazi camp, Mathausen. We wanted to tour the camp and Steyr was relatively close. The town of Steyr was the biggest surprise on our 16 day trip! It is the most beautiful place we have ever... More
