Perfect situated in the city of Linz. Excellent service and newly renovated rooms. Very good restaurant with high quality food. They also has a bar where you can get a drink or two. I you are looking for a nice hotel in the city center of Linz, look no more.

Five stars for the staff, two stars for the room. I thought that business hotel had any longer "driver's rooms" to sell. Even if new renovated, the room assigned was definitely too small and unacceptable for three nights stay. Bathroom, also new renovated. Both well cleaned during the whole stay. Average breakfast buffet. Also in this department, staff was smiling...

Right in the centre of Linz- bit of a struggle to park [awkward] but that's because their car park is in the centre of Linz ! We didn't eat there but would have done if we had not walked around the town. Breakfast was the 'better than standard' Austro/German buffet.

The hotel is perfectly located directly in the center of Linz. Everything is walking distance. The rooms are a bit small, but modern and friendly. Bed is comfy. The court-facing rooms are quiet as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The scrambled eggs were finished and not replenished. Still all in all a perfect...

Spent 4 days here on business – the hotel feels very family run and the staff are super friendly. Rooms immaculate (although mine wasn't the largest) and seemed good value compared to other prices I saw in Linz. And all this right in the middle of town.

I spent 3 nights at Hotel Zum Schwarzen Baren in May. The hotel is located on a quiet side street but within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Walking time to the main train station is about 20 minutes but a tram is available around the corner. The staff was efficient at check-in and check-out. The lobby and breakfast...

We stayed for one night in June and found the hotel to be well located. The room was a bit on the small side for 2 people but would be comfortable for a single. The Hotel has a business clientele and was professionally run. Overall this hotel was good for one night.

Stayed a week here whilst attending a sporting event recently. This is a privately owned family run business, and it shows. Clean and modern rooms although not all are air conditioned. Very clean. Service excellent and nothing was a problem. Breakfasts offered a broad selection of fresh foods which at 9 Euros was a bargain. Parking for cars was free...

Situated in restricted area in city centre, this hotel has a lot to offer: parking spot, but recommend you arrive with public transport, very modern rooms and although not the biggest in town they render space like no one else! Style is the exact word for the friendly reception, the cosy old-fashioned restaurant annex 'bier-stube' with very fine French cuisine...
