We started for 3 nights. The location was central to a lot of sights and trains and buses. View over the water amazing. Room was large with king bed. Bathroom large with seperate toilet, bath and shower. Place very clean. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and

This is a relaxed, small hotel with friendly staff and understated, elegant interior. Our two night stay was a pleasurable one - easy access to main attractions, lovely breakfast, beautiful views of the marina from the window. A big thank you to all very helpful staff.

Room was spacious but dated. Highlight was the lovely view of the harbour. Loved the jacuzzi bath in the room. Convenient location, we took the lift to the 6th floor and walked to the casino square. Easy access to the Palace by bus. Breakfast was good and staff helpful.

So the room was decorated in a very contemporary mode. We were on the 2nd floor which was okay but not great. The best thing was being able to exit on the 6th floor and not having to walk up the hill! The lobby was just a small breakfast area and a tiny bar. There is a

Dear Adelaide, Actually the cruise terminal is not far from the hotel but the best way is to take a cab that we can order for you at the reception, it's takes about 10 min. Kind Regards

Monte Carlo is only about the size of Central Park in NYC, so no place in the place is very far from anyplace else. From Port Palace you can look over the water to see the docked cruise ship on the far side of Port Hercule so in theory it should be an easy enough walk. But Monte Carlo is carved from the feet of the Alps so it is a vertical city in some respects. To get to that port, you will need to walk up an incline (not steep but consistent) and the sidewalks are made of cobblestones. Depending on how much luggage you have, how in shape you are, how much time you want to take on the walk and the weather, you might want to consider other options. The bus system is superb (but again, it will depend on how many bags you have); a taxi probably wouldn't be very expensive. One thing I don't know, and you might want to look into, is whether a water taxi is available. I know they go from one side of the port to the other but I don't know if they go to the cruise ship terminal. But yes, depending on how much effort you want to put into it you would be able to walk from the hotel to the cruise ship.

breakfast was good and certainly worth having on site rather than wandering round to find an alternative. lovely hotel.

We arrived at 16.00 with no issues. My sense is that they are quite relaxed about most things, once you don't stretch it.
