Relaxation, the art of true living, an unmistakable sophistication – such is the spirit of the Belle Epoque which brings the Hotel Hermitage to life. A century later, the same spirit is still intact in the Eiffel Hall, the salons, the guest rooms, each with an individual, intimate atmosphere where discreet luxury joins with classic pleasures from times pasts.Overlooking the Mediterranean, the Hôtel Hermitage cultivates elegance at its highest level. Born with the 20th century, this historic palace imparts an intimate, relaxed atmosphere in which serenity is re-invented with each new day.

It is a very nice hotel in a very nice location - for the rich and famous perhaps. As a business traveler on a modest salary paying 16€ a liter for water (10x the price of gasoline) is nothing short of extortion, especially when elsewhere in the world classy hotels offer a

This hotel is heavenly hence the title of review. Have stayed a number of times; everything from the rooms (recommended Sea View with Terrace) to the restaurant for dinner, and the spa are sublime. Service friendly and impeccable as you would expect and perfect location in heart

It has taken me a while to reply to these questions, mostly because there is some sort of huge fantasy about this area that keeps one from enjoying it to its fullest! It started with the British Invasion in the 1900's (I know.. my grandfather was one of them and his villa where I grew up is still there overlooking the harbour and the Palais Princier! I went to boarding school on The Rocher where I could see my house from it's garden). Yes, you can spend a lot but, then again, you really do not have to! Great Bus service from Nice will get you there at a reasonable price.. so will the train! driving a rental car in Monte Carlo is a waste! you can walk all around the city in less than 30 minutes, buses will take you to any and all of the sites you want to see, Please remember that this wonderful area is full of people like you and me who live and work there without the benefits of the celebrities you will never see! Enjoy a day trip if you are on a low budget.. the Cote D'Azur is expensive. Happy Trails!

Hi, we didn't book the transfer as it was just as easy to get the bus from the airport to the centre of Monte Carlo. The return ticket was about 33 Euros which was well worth it and probably less than a Taxi one way. You can purchase the ticket from the bus window at the entrance and they were very helpful. There are plenty of bus transfers (I think it was the 101) and the stop for the Hermitage is near the Tourist Centre and a short walk. The bus was large, comfortable and the drivers very helpful. Large cases can be stored in the luggage hold. I'd fully recommend the bus as you'll need as much money in Monaco foe eating!!!! Enjoy your stay.

A suite is definitely higher in price that an normal room. And the price is for 2 adults. Some times you can bring a child Under a certain age. If you become a member of the Leading hotels of the world you get breakfast free and a up grade To the next cat room. It’s £100 to become a member for a year. Monaco is very expensive.
