Booked this for a 5 night stay over the Tour de France weekend. The room was clean and perfectly comfortable. You take breakfast at the Sports Bar across the road. It's perfectly adequate and the staff are very nice and helpful. I was told there was free wifi and although I could pick it up the access code didn't work.... More

I am writing this review on my last night of my holiday. The hotel is small little gem set in the heart of Arinsal. The rooms may be a bit small for some people, but 2 of us were quite comfy and not falling over each other. The hotel is lovely and clean and the decor is neutral and simple,... More

We stayed at this hotel for a week in Feb as a group of 6 the rooms were small but very clean and very well looked after. Check in is across the road in another hotel but they were very friendly and easy to deal with.

Stayed here for a week in Feb, rooms were small but adequate for what we needed. Breakfast in the "Polar Base" was great (ask for the croissant to be replaced by eggs and bacon, as they don't tell you this is included). Staff were friendly and checking in and out was easy and simple. Would stay again.

Was very impressed from the moment I met the receptionist, was very kind and helpful, provided useful information. The hotel is very close to the Gondola lift just a 3-4 minute walk, is across the road from a supermarket that has pretty much everything you would need and also a very nice restaurant/bar (Polar Base Bar/restaurant). It also is next... More

Very Good all round. Very obliging receptionist, excellent location just across from the Gondola lift and central within easy walking distance to all main bars/restaurants. Actually next door to the Derby Irish pub. The Polar Base restaurant across the road is part of the Hotel Apartment complex and is used for breakfast. Rooms in the hotel were very small for... More

We arrived by car after a long day and were surprised at how urban Andorra was. On arrival, we had difficulty locating the car parking and reception as the Micolau seems to be one part of a larger complex with several names. Our room smelled of cigarettes, which was probably emphasised by the used cigarette ends being in a plastic... More

Rooms cosy and clean. Great location for all pubs and restaurants. Close to ski gondola. Perfect if you are looking for somewhere convenient and basic. Great Irish pub right next door - The Derby Inn. Also has great little restaurant - Deja Vu. Breakfast was rather limited, toast and muffins. But overall it was a great week.

Having just returned from a holiday at the Micolau with my husband and 3 teenage children, I cannot praise the hotel highly enough. We had 3 double rooms and all were clean with nice bathrooms and plenty of space for us all. The hotel staff were really friendly and the food was great. We stayed half board and were all... More
