Having stayed at Capital Coast from 27th Sept - 6th Oct I can say I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Brilliant location, 20 minutes from the airport, bus stops are outside the hotel €1.50 pp to Paphos Harbour and buses run every 15mins, Lidl across the road and bars and restaurants are just 10min walk down the road. Hotel is clean and modern but is in need of some refurbishment & tlc. WIFI is good and free as are pool towels but you do need to leave a refundable €5 deposit per towel. Food and drinks are reasonable value and happy hour in the main bar is exceptional value with all cocktails made fresh with real fruit and fresh cream. I suspect the negative reviews are based on bad room choice and unrealistic expectations. - you get what you pay for - there are a wide range of rooms and prices. I paid (extra) for a sea view suite and it was excellent. I saw no end of people trying to get upgrades having paid for lower grade rooms. The hotel was full so there was no option for an upgrade and the staff would try to overcome language difficulties and manage unrealistic expectations. Not the staff’s fault. Extremely safe, quiet vibe overall. Staff are helpful and the cleaning never stops. The cleaners are constantly busy, our room was cleaned daily, towels every second day unless we wanted them sooner. Toiletries replenished when needed and the kitchen was fully stocked allowing us to shop at Lidl across the road and cook in the room. Over this period was a Jewish Holiday. From this group some guests were rude, they brought there own food to the pool and outside bar area making demands of the staff and not offering a tip. The Jewish groups partied into the night messing around in the pools until 10pm and beyond and bringing there own drinks to consume in the hotel grounds. The noise did keep me up beyond midnight. None of this can be blamed on the staff or facilities but maybe a more robust regime to manage the behaviour would not have gone amiss. I would always challenge guests to put themselves in the staff’s shoes before taking aim and offering criticism.

Room Tip: Sea View suites - you get what you pay for so don’t go cheap and regret it.

A few years ago I was in a hotel and it was very nice and cozy with a small room with a lime view. Last week I was at the hotel again in the suite I was an ongoing nightmare The suite was Lade the only elevator and made noises and knocks throughout the day and the night was very hard to sleep. Although I applied the first night and talked to a principal in the morning, I could not find a solution even though I paid full price in advance. Lack of care and lack of compassion and consideration on the part of the staff and management It seems to me that I have exhausted this hotel and it is clear that I will not return. The hotel is outdated and the furniture is tired of broken floors throughout the hotel lobby in the spa on the terrace and in the room. For those who care about the family and being calm, beach and food is not the most important thing, also sleep well and a team that helps is also important.

The noisiest echo-chamber of a hotel I’ve ever been in. Trying to salvage some sleep while the corridors outside echoed with door slams, footsteps and every little noise magnified to unbearable levels. The design of the layout and materials beggars belief. Apart from this the hotel airport transfer never materialised but that’s another story…

Up on arrival they gave us wrong room type ,saying we came only for 1 night,so we can't have booked type... At pool bar i ordered carbonara, asked with penne, i was told there is only spaghetti (hard to believe there is only one kind of pasta in a whole hotel ) when my food arrived there was a spaghetti size , and the same thickness of black hair in my food. Waiter saw it and took it back -hopefully it was changed. Baby's pool has no shade at all.. so summertime in Cyprus your baby most probably will end up with sunburn. Also so slippery inside in children's pool that even me, i had trouble to stay on my feet. Breakfast area full of cats and service is quite slow.. we usually give good reviews and we choose our places carefully but this time we make a mistake. Ah also window in the elevator near reception hasn't been cleaned since opening of the hotel i am 100% sure..

It was quiet and helpful stuff but the building needs a serious renovation. The walls has too much damages, the tiles also. I think no one cares about the facilities, i saw a destroyed wardbore after the elevator, very dirty glasses around the pool. poor breakfast. i requested double bed, they sent me an email that they will arange a double bed in my room, but they gave me 2 singles. I dont recomend this hotel unless they make a SERIOUS renovation.
