My wife and I travelled to Paphos with Jet2 holidays in March 2018. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.
The Basilica holiday resort is located near Paphos harbour (10 minute) walk away. There is a supermarket right across the road and a good selection of bars,...More
Stayed here for four nights and the longer we stayed there the more we enjoyed our stay. Definitely a three star resort with hard (but bearable) beds. But it is slap bang in the middle of the harbour area where everywhere is just a short...More
Have just returned from a lovely holiday in Cyprus and our stay at these apartments was very good. The room we stayed in was basic but had everything a couple needs for self catering. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed to. All...More
We just got back from a 5 day stay at the Basilica Hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay thanks to the lovely restaurant manager Kostas and his friendly and efficient team! We had the all inclusive package which we thought was very well worth...More
After many years of going all inclusive, decided to give self catering another go.

The site of the complex is flat. The entrance to both the dining room and reception is flat, with no steps or even a curb. The swimming pool area is raised slightly, but there is a ramp. The streets around the complex are generally flat including the way to the seafront. Once at the seafront, this is flat with a long promenade walk. HOWEVER, the rooms in the complex are in different blocks, and only 2 of these blocks have lifts. The other blocks only have stairs to/from the rooms. There are no ground floor rooms. The blocks with a lift are the Harbour Suites, along the street slightly from the main part, and then there is another block with superior rooms (I forget the name) which has a lift, but this is over the road from the main part, around a corner and then across a small car park. It is only about a 30 second walk but sounds a long way. The route is flat apart from a number of kerbs to go up and down. Keep in mind as well that many of the pavements can be rough and uneven generally.
