Stayed for a week recently. The welcome and overall friendliness of all the staff and other guests at the hotel was commendable. It's a very reasonably priced hotel and excellent value for money but you do get what you pay for so don't expect fancy trimmings, it's clean with a reasonable choice of well cooked food (I don't eat breakfast)....

“If you’re from anywhere south of Sheffield” bantered the man who did the bingo and the karaoke, “you’re a Southerner.” The humour was Yorkshire – we were treated to the Hale and Pace’s “Yorkshire Airlines” sketch, the punchline being: “if it’s outside Yorkshire, it’s not worth bloody visiting”. There is a Yorkshire flavour to the Agapinor, a no-nonsense down-to-earthiness that...

Arrived back 2 days ago from a week's break here. This is a basic three start hotel with the friendliest staff, who go out of their way to make you welcome. The food is plentiful and of good quality. Cleanliness is basic, but the hotel shows its age with the fittings, and it is cleaned to the highest standard possible...

We spent 3 weeks here at the end of January and beginning of February on all-in light basis. Our first visit to Cyprus in 15 years and we enjoyed it very much. The View over the lower town and sea was excellent. The room and ( thankfully) the bed was comfortable and the staff were excellent. The cleaner visited every...

Dear Guest, let me start by explaining to the younger readers on this forum, Faulty Towers was a fictional hotel set in Torquay, Devon. The characters were incompetent staff dealing with uncivil and occasionally rude guests, it was however quite amusing in its day, I therefore strongly object on behalf of my staff and guests to such a comparison. In...

The hotel is one of the good 3 stars places. Stayed in February, sea views are really stunning, I definately recommend the sea/pool side balcony room. Rooms are nice, with comfortable beds and spotless cleaned every day, the corridors smell very fresh as you coming in. The light inclusive package is a good value one. It's not a rossette dining,...

We have just returned from a week AI Lite at the Agapinor. This is quite a small hotel in the old part of town. There are no slot machines, table tennis tables, kids clubs, poolside games, parrot shows or tour reps. There is good, hot food and plenty of it. The choice is limited, but it's a small hotel. There...
