Souli Beach Hotel garners praise for its immaculate cleanliness and the courteous service provided by its staff. Many guests appreciate the clean and comfortable rooms, especially those with serene sea views, although some note the decor is quite basic and there are additional charges for air conditioning and fridges. The hotel's proximity to the beach and Latchi center makes it a favored location, and despite the extra fees, several travelers find the overall value satisfactory, given the hotel's charming atmosphere and well-maintained facilities.

Stayed there for 5 days early October ( wished I was able to stay longer) and the location is superb just less than 10 minutes walk to Latchi. From my sea view room, which was spotless, I could see the beautiful bay and also the mountains beyond. Due to some health issues they provided me with what I needed for breakfast and at dinner time they were accommodating me with what I was able to eat.
Liz appeared to have been organising everything superbly and I would certainly return most probably next year.
The hotel’s restaurant is on the beach with a great variety on the menu and I had no complaints as everything I had was very well cooked and a generous portion.
No hesitation in recommending the hotel.

This was my second stay in this family ran hotel. Frixos and Elizabeth are there daily and often the entire family meet for a meal in the gorgeous settings of the hotel. There is no semi artificial, rehearsed corporate hotel posturing here. Customers are left alone as far as possible, given absolute freedom with the minimum of hotel organisation which means the customer has as much relaxation as can possibly be provided. The friendly family nature of this venue is best illustrated by the remarkable length of service enjoyed by the staff. George at the restaurant there for 26 years regularly working a 13 hour day and Andreas, Bambos & Martin all employed for long periods. The cooks too all long term employed. Fantastic benefits include taking your seats at the beach side restaurant and enjoying the same experienced, consummately professional & friendly service every year when you attend. Like slipping into cosy holiday slippers year after year. Sit in quiet and watch carefully as wave after wave of Cypriot & tourist diners attend well into the night. Piled trays of lovely, highly stacked food whirr too & from the kitchen while chilled beers and fine wine slake the warmth fueled thirsts. It is lovely to behold. Not even covid stalled the waves of grateful clientele as Frixos & the team superbly managed regulation, design & infrastructure to keep business flowing. When forced by law to close the bedrooms and buildings were improved and revamped to ensure it would re open bigger & better. It is my favourite hotel as its quietness, family feel and great staff really means a great deal to me. See you all soon Elizabeth.

We have just returned home from 9 nights at the Souli.. we love Latchi/Polis area so know to expect a quieter more relaxed time but the Souli is very quiet! and lacking a little bit of atmosphere... We were firstly given a ground floor sea view room next to the pool but asked for a move on to one of the upper levels. The ground floor room was very small and lacked privacy, we felt that we needed to have the curtains closed a lot and the walls were paper thin..However the hotel happily obliged and moved us to a much better room on the first floor. The rooms are spotlessly clean as is the hotel in general, beds were comfy and views are beautiful but this is most definitely a 2 star hotel and charging to use a fridge in your room is very strange! .. The Souli attracts people of a certain age (we are 48 and felt young) the beach is fine, small and the few sunbeds desperately need replacing .. On the whole the Souli is clean, tidy, breakfast is nice but the same every day, has fabulous views but definitely for those of a certain age who want total peace 😀

We have just got back from our holiday and stay at the Souli Hotel in Latchi near polis. This is the first time we have managed to holiday abroad since the pandemic. We have stayed at the Souli hotel many times before covid. It was therefore great to visit again and stay in a place that is held deep in our hearts. It was good to see old faces and also see the changes since we visited in 2019. The new improvements include new reception area/lift. There have also been a number of new rooms added and a refurbishment to original rooms. We had one of the new rooms on the top floor with a sea view. All rooms now have glass panelling on their balconies. This provides better views from rooms and wind protection. The old sun loungers have been replaced with new. All in all a lot of improvements have been made. The 1/2 board menu was excellent value for money and the staff friendly and always helpful. We had a late flight back so the use of the shower rooms was very handy after we had checked out and before we were collected by taxi later that day. We are already looking to our return visit. The improvements made are excellent and have not spoilt any of the reasons why we return to this beautiful family run hotel year on year as so many others do. Well done Souli hotel and your team for making our stay as warm and friendly as ever. It was good to be back and stay in one of our favourite holiday destinations. We will return again soon.

Stayed at the Souli Beach hotel for 17 nights through Jet2 and the experience was perfectly relaxing. This family run hotel delivered everything that we hoped for to a high standard. After a late evening arrival and a no fuss check in, the owner Frixos brought chilled glasses of white wine and we sat outside and quickly relaxed. This hotel has lifts and our top floor bedroom had a lovely sea view with glass fronted balcony .The beds were really comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate with soft towels and generous toiletries. Everything was cleaned and refreshed daily and all public areas of this charming hotel were also maintained to a high standard.
Breakfasts were self service with a decent choice of hot and cold items which were refilled constantly. Our 3 course half board evening meals were really generous with plenty of fish options and good value local wines all served by George and his friendly team in the beach front Taverna.q A kettle and mugs were also provided in the bedroom to make hot drinks with your own tea or coffee.
We spent lazy days by the sparkling refurbished hotel pool and also hired a car to explore the local villages and mountains. Driving on the left and quiet roads made this really pleasurable.
As the world cup rugby was on some evenings, the rugby enthusiasts gathered in the reception lounge to watch on tv which has many English language channels. For those wanting more
entertainment, Latchi marina with bars and restaurants is a short walk away but we were really happy to sit by the sea and soak up the Cypriot 🌞

The Souli hotel is a family owned hotel in a quiet and peaceful location on Lachi beach. All the staff are friendly hardworking and loyal.Breakfast is continental and perfectly adequate serving the local cheeses, fruit salad, cereals toast fried eggs and bacon. The coffee is good and also the orange juice.
We were half board and the evening meal is excellent with huge portions ( we couldn’t manage the 3 courses)Plenty to choose from mostly traditional faire with lovely fresh fish.I had the sea bass one evening and it was beautiful.
There is a safe in the room, an extra charge of 1 euro per day,air con is 5 euro per day and a supplement for the fridge of 4.5 euro per day.We didn’t use any of these as the weather was just warming up, but I think you would need air con and the fridge in high season.Cleaning was first class good quality linen and towels. There is only a narrow shelf in the bathroom, so not enough space for toiletries ( that’s the only gripe.
All new sun beds and toppers around the pool, some even have the bar code still on.
At the time we were there lots of tiny flies ( and/or mossies ) so take repellent spray.
A lovely break at the Souli and would definitely return

I had a fantastic trip to Cyprus in January where I stayed at the Souli Beach Hotel in Latchi. I hiked, mountain biked and swam in coves around the Akamas peninsula. Latchi is very quiet at this time of year which is exactly what I wanted so that I could unwind after some stress at work. Liz runs the Souli Hotel (it is owned by her Cypriot parents). She grew up in Melbourne so she is fluent in both Greek and English. I found the hotel to be very relaxed with really friendly and helpful staff. The hotel restaurant is excellent, I dined on freshly caught fish served with whatever I chose; chips or rice and grilled veg. All beautifully cooked and served by pleasant and courteous staff. The room I stayed in had a balcony overlooking the glorious beach with the Akamas hills in the background. It was clean and had everything I needed (I brought my own travel kettle). I hired a mountain bike for 3 days (from Wheelies) and Liz kindly let me keep it overnight in the storeroom. I explored the Akamas by bike and on foot, it is a truly beautiful and remote region of Cyprus, especially magnificent at this time of year with very few visitors around. Souli beach hotel was in the perfect location and provided me with a perfect stay. I will definately be returning again next year.

Its the end of the season and we needed a break from our long stay in Larnaca.
We decided to go to an area of Cyprus that we have not been to before- The Akamas Peninsular.
We did not book but called at The Souli Beach Hotel at the far end of Latchi which is a lovely small fishing port not far from the town of Poli
We were only going to stay for one night initially but felt so comfortable there that we extended to two nights and then, ultimately, to four nights despite the weather being very windy for two of them.
The hotel is well placed right on the beach with a dining room literally overlooking the sea.- in the season I could not imagine a better situation but too windy for our time there.
We enjoyed a simple breakfast each morning and had our evening meal there twice- excellent on both occasions.
We did not use the pool but it looked pretty good but we did use and enjoy the tennis court.
The rooms were spotlessly clean, the shower was invigorating and the bed comfortable. What more could you wish for in a hotel room? The view from the bedroom balcony looking both east and west , was incredible.
The whole team of management and staff were highly professional and worked to very high standards and made everyone in the hotel feel comfortable in a nicely relaxed atmosphere. Looking forward to returning next year.

Just back from a really relaxing week spent at the Souli Beach Hotel in Neo Chorio. The hotel is very quiet and relaxed with many of the holiday makers seemingly having stayed there many times before. There were very few young people or children staying when we were there with most of the visitors being of retirement age. I don't know whether this is the general make up of visitors throughout the year or due to the fact that children had gone back to school after the summer break before we got there. We chose the half board option and the menu was varied and food delicious. Being able to sit at a reserved table in the hotels beach side restaurant for meals was a real treat and every one of the hotel and restaurant staff staff was helpful and courteous. The harbour at Latchi is a ten to fifteen minute walk away and there is a bus which stops just outside the hotel which will take you into Polis or up to the Baths of Aphrodite. We booked a sea view room on the first floor. It was obviously not one of the refurbished rooms shown on the hotel's and jet2's web site and was a little tired and dated but met all of our needs. The wifi is excellent in all areas and although the tv has no English channels you can find some English language films to watch later in the evening if you want to watch some tv. I imagine the reason that the hotel only gets a two star rating is due to the fact that not all of the rooms have been refurbished but don't let this put you off. The bed was comfy and the room was cleaned every day and was spotless. We paid the €4.50 a day for the fridge to keep milk, beers and drinks cold and the €5 a day for the aircon. However it was only towards the end of the holiday when it became particularly humid that we found we needed it on during the night. Because our seaview room overlooking the pool and restaurant was in the shade all day it didn't get over bearingly hot and it was pleasant to sit out on the balcony. As we were only staying for a week we didn't hire a car but had we been staying for longer we definitely would have done. The pool area never seemed crowded but we chose to spend most days on the beach where sun beds and parasols can be hired for €2.50 per item. Its only a five minute walk away and generally cooler due to the sea breeze . You definitely need to wear rock shoes to get in and out of the sea as the beach consists of very course sand and shingle and the sea floor is covered with large boulders. The mini bus transfer, to and from the hotel took around 50 minutes and the pick up was on time. Regular texts and emails from jet2 kept us up to date with information throughout our stay. The jet2 rep visited on time to help with any queries. We were able to pay €30 to keep our room until we checked out in the evening which meant we could make the most of our last day. If you want a really quiet, relaxing, stress free, value for money break in a beautiful area of Cyprus then I would recommend a holiday at the Souli Beach

My wife and I have just returned from our third visit to the Souli Beach Hotel. Our last visit was in 2019 before Covid-19 put holidays on hold. I am pleased to say the standard is just as high and we were impressed with the investment made in the the new glass balcony balustrades and the front entrance extension and an additional lift. It's hard to believe that this hotel only has a 2 star+ rating; but who really needs a trouser press on holiday in Cyprus. As ever the food is is great and the residents half board evening menu at 18 Euros for three courses is terrific value. Cleanliness remains as high as ever. All in all Frixos, Donna and Elizabeth do a brilliant job in running the hotel so our thanks to them and the rest of the team in making our stays there a really happy experience. The beach side location is great and you will be treated to some fabulous sunsets from the outdoor restaurant. With luck we'll be going back next year.

There is nothing nearby for takeaway. The walk into Latchi is about 15 minutes. It’s not a late night resort. And supermarkets will be closed too. I’d suggest you bring something with you. Alternatively, you could contact the hotel and ask a favour from the restaurant on site (closed by 10pm). Maybe they could help but it wouldn’t be the norm, though they do try and be as helpful as they can.

I think it may depend on how you book. We have stayed 4 times in the last 6 years or so. As a package holiday we have paid extra for each of those additions. Our most recent time( August) we booked direct with the hotel and air con and fridge were provided.

No they don’t. We took our own. They’re about 6 euro at the shop ( nit great quality). Not sure if you can hire from the hotel, didn’t see anything suggesting you could. Also re: beach. It’s pebbly when getting into the sea so you’d need beach shoes to comfortably get over the pebbles and rocks.
