The same delightful surroundings & friendly, attentive--but never intrusive--staff;but a new policy involving constantly changing central European guests on tour with consequenti buffet-style dinner & more basic breakfast is alienating the traditional 3 wk Brit winter customers. Will this policy--incidentally more taxing on the staff--pay in the end remains to be seen with interest.

Booked a double room 1st week in January although the weather was cold the room soon warmed up. Room was clean and comfortable with a plentiful supply of Tea and coffee. Clean towels every day. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. Staff where friendly and efficient. Will stay again next time in TRNC

Good value and friendly staff. Great pool. Slightly annoying and comical that people save sunbeds with towels from about 7am everyday. Well placed for the sights. Not too far to Kyrenia. Breakfast is a buffet and some great chickens and things walking about. Brits abroad need to appeal to you.

Recently renovated, clean pleasant surroundings. Two swimming pools. Really nice gardens. Stayed at this hotel many times in the past and have been happy. Went this November because we thought it would be quiet. However at 6.00 pm two coachloads of people arrived. The evening meal was not pleasant, restaurant was cramed. The food was quickly gone. Staff having trouble coping....

Dreadful, in every respect. Old fashioned ambiance, tired decor. It's as though the owners, and the staff, have just given up. No one who works there seems to be bothered, except the Thai cleaning ladies. They are the only ones at the Ship, who seem in any way enthusiastic. There's an attitude, among the staff, of total apathy, unfriendlyness even....

Dear travell4258, We are sorry to hear you didn't enjoy your stay with us. Your comments are very surprising as we have had a very busy season and currently 100% fully booked, which makes us think you may have got the wrong hotel? We have a large selection of HOT and cold food served at breakfast (please see other recent...

A great little hotel with superb staff. The pool is excellent & the centre of the daily routine. We were on b&b so can't comment on the food as we ate at the many very good surrounding restaurants . You can walk into Kyrenia along the busy road but it's best to just catch a Dolmus for peanuts.

Went in September and stayed in one of the new apartments. It was spacious, beautifully presented and well appointed. Only fault with it was there was no phone so had to walk up to reception every time. Food is average. Basic breakfast selection but they will cook omelette on request. Lunch menu good but never ate in the evening as...

We booked a self catering apartment 100 meters away from the hotel. The rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The only fault we found was the window at the bottom of the stairs had no blinds so anybody outside the rooms could see into the apartment and the bathroom.

The Hotel was lovely and quiet and friendly and helpful - More than I can say for the Holiday Rep (Nothing to do with Hotel)who kept disappearing. The hotel is set in Olive groves and had lovely scenery. My room was perfect and clean and well kept loved sitting on the balcony drinking coffee. The food is not oustanding but...
