Given Luxembourg prices (even compared to AirBnB) this hotel is great value for money. It's close to the train station, clean, Internet works well, bed is comfy, quiet and safe (I came on a Wednesday). The only thing that could be somewhat better in terms of choice and quality would be the breakfast but it is ok as it is... More

This hotel is a family owned one where the rooms are on top of their restaurant. The rooms are basic but were clean and contain everything you need for a short/business trip to Luxembourg. The receptionist didn't know how to speak in English but some workers do so still managed to get any information required. Breakfast is included and was... More

1 minute walk from the main train station. The hotel is on a very dubious street. When I arrived the receptionist had gone missing so the waiter from the connecting restaurant opened up for me. The waiter insisted on keeping my passport in an unlocked draw. The room was very basic and the bed was more like a mattress on... More

The Gare area is like London's Soho but without the noise. Bars, restaurants and "clubs" abound. The Hotel is surprisingly quiet, even if next door to a girlie club. Rooms clean and straightforward; TV doesn't have much to entertain anyone who only speaks English, but the the Wifi is probably the best I've found in any hotel I have stayed... More

Don't go there, this place is horrible. It's located in the middle of two very noisy nightclubs. I couldn't sleep until 2 am because of the music from the clubs, then there is also the noise from people going to/from the clubs and talking/singing/screaming in the street. The beds were very uncomfortable and the pillows were so thin they did... More

It's close to the station and its street seems a bit red-light. But this place is amazingly cheap for what it is. Staying for a few days in Luxembourg, I did not want to blow my budget on the hotel. Still, I was looking for a central place. Overall: Good breakfast, very nice staff and clean. The rooms are certainly... More

I was going to call this review " Average in every respect" but then I realized that I was just unlucky to have a room on the third floor with a broken shower-cradle and those are major deal-breakers for me. But I was tired and alone with my 2 kids so too tired to change rooms after settling in with... More

We stayed at Auberge Gagliotti because it was the only Lux. City hotel that would give us three single beds. It turned out to be a great choice. It looked recently renovated, and the bathroom with shower was immaculate. The room, halls and reception areas were clean, comfortable, well furnished, and the English-speaking staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast... More

If this was London, it would be equivalent to staying in Soho: the hotel is surrounded by sex shops, a tattoo parlour and nightclubs playing bad eighties disco. The room was clean, with a power shower, but it was impossible to open the windows due to the noise, so the room was very hot at night. Oh, and there's an... More

The place is located above an italian restaurant and you will find it much quicker if you ask the locals/taxi dirver for Trattoria del Quattro. It has an excellent position- 200 m from the main train and bus stations and 15 min walk to the old part of the town. The reception looks a little questionable, but the rooms are... More

“If you value wifi and a shower that you don't have to hold: check out the room they give you!! I was in room 32 (4rd floor): treet-side seemed a bit noisy with all the strip-joints spitting out drunken people. There is NO WIFI on the 3rd floor and 2nd looked pretty shaky too. They have a repeater but it doesn't really work yet (the guys said it was recently installed) so I ended up sitting downstairs.”
