Very nice hotel, right next to the Vianden Castle. Castle is lit up at night, so we had a stunning view. It's also a good base for hiking trails, most of which pass by the castle. Room has all you need: clean beds, clean bathroom. Breakfast is very good. Staff appear to speak just about every language.

We spent a weekend in Vianden for my girlfriends birthday. The drive to the hotel is spectacular, as it is situated in a beautiful area. From the hotel itself you can look up at the castle, which is lit at night and makes for spectacular views from the hotelroom. The little town itself is also very picturesque and quaint. We...

The location is fantastic if you're in town to visit the castle, as you are located right at the base. Our room was located on the back side of the hotel, so we didn't have the castle view, but we also didn't get the noise from the rather road immediately in front of the hotel. The comments from others about...

We were traveling without any particular destination and stopped for lunch and change for the paid parking just below the Hotel. The owners were very accommodating when they found that we weren't just expecting coins for the parking meters - something that many tourists do. We ended up staying in one of their better rooms. They were a little worn...

Fantastic view from our windows looking straight up at the castle. Our room was on the front side of the hotel and the view was incedible! the only draw back is the busy road in front until about 9:00 pm it is like a race track noise wise, bit stops later on. Great parking in front of hotel. The restaurant has...

End-March unseasonal sunshine brought fantastic weather for several days in the Grand Duchy so I visited Vianden and lunched on the verandah of the Hotel Oranienburg. Thought it would be a total 'tourist trap' but price was reasonable and service very friendly and efficient. Excellent view up at the 'schloss' (Castle).

Great location, reasonably priced and adequate breakfast included. Staff was friendly too. However, it had thin walls, so you can hear everything in the rooms around you. The shower had no barrier or curtain to keep the water from going everywhere. Total mess! No hairdryer either. Rooms were very dated and this hotel desperately needs updating.

We stayed at Hotel Oranienburg in Vianden Luxembourg in March 07. We paid 192 Euro for one night in a double Grand comfort room (view of castle), with gastronomic evening meal. Although a lovely space the room is so horribly decorated it could make you cry – unless intensly yellow wallpaper, garish fruit patters on all the soft furnishings and...
