I just went eating at the Roof Top Restaurant and the food is disgusting. The waiter don even dare to ask you if everything is ok... since they know there would be complaints. I wont go again. The thing that I have to order the desert while ordering food shows that its going to be a frozen desert and infact...

I've stayed in this hotel on several occasions during trips to Malta and it seems to be evolving. It has great potential, and perhaps when this potential is reached, the hotel will be more expensive. As it is, this grand old building can be a mixed bag, with some rooms not quite up to standard others very nice, -- There...

This a fine choice for a 3-4 star experience in a great location on one of the Historic squares in Valletta. It is quiet, close to the quaint cobblestoned plazas, shopping, dining and jump-off for Island panoramic tours. The Air Conditioning was a bit spotty, but evenings cool and with a nice breeze fine for sleeping. The included breakfasts on...

This historic hotel used to be a palace for the Di Robertis family, and it's a wonderful example of traditional Maltese architecture, inside and out. The staff, too, all had that traditional Maltese friendliness, were helpful and charming. My room was on the small side, but I was travelling solo so that wasn't a problem for me. More importantly, it...

I stay at this hotel every month for a few nights as I have a regular consultancy with the Maltese Ministry. The staff remain as helpful as ever. The roof top restaurant has new furniture both inside and out on the roof. The breakfast menu has been improved and the rooms now have flat screen TV's and mini fridges. Ideal...

The staff here went out of their way to be kind and helpful. The room was brilliant traditional room with historic balcony (room 10). The restaurant has the best views in Malta and the roof terrace a 360 view! The food was amazing, huge portions and the service excellent (better than the 5 star phonicea hotel down the road). Would...

The Castille Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the bus station, perfect for exploring Valletta and next to the Upper Barrakka gardens with fantastic views over Grand harbour. We stayed here twice in June. On the first occasion the first room was rather small but on the second we had a huge room. This has everything to do with...

Hotel Castille was good for my quick visit in Valletta because it was easily accessible by foot from the Valletta Bus Terminus and it is situated at a beautiful part of the city (The Upper Barakka Garden and the impressive Grand Harbour are just a few steps away.) The hotel is in a historic building and the room design reflected...

The staff are friendly but seem unable to do anything about simple problems, "Sorry but it's switched off ...." when for the second night there's no air con. Breakfast closes early but that really doesn't matter because, except for the coffee, it's not worth getting up for.

Yes - this hotel is old and some would say dated. However, this adds to the charm of the hotel and is in line with the charm and history of Valetta. We stayed for a week and were very impressed with the friendly and helpful staff. The roof top restaurant is to die for with great views across Grand Harbour...
