Men must wear long trousers for dinner, there is no rules for women. However we saw a number of men wearing shorts and vests/tee shirts at dinner and it looks wrong and it puts the staff in an awkward position, why can't everyone make this small effort and do you really want to sit a table next to hairy arm pits when enjoying your dinner.
