We stayed at Amora Ubud in Bali for a week, and it was truly unforgettable. They made the first week of our honeymoon a dream come true, introducing us to the beauty of Balinese hospitality.
From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. Always kind and attentive, they helped us with every little detail, and we truly felt pampered throughout our stay. The views from our room were breathtaking – overlooking the lush, wild nature of Bali, a constant reminder of the paradise we were in. The private pool was the perfect retreat, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty and serenity of the surrounding jungle.
The staff’s attention to cleanliness was remarkable; they ensured our room was spotless, coming by two or even three times a day to tidy up and make everything perfect. Breakfasts were a highlight – rich, diverse, and delicious, providing the perfect start to a day full of exploring Bali.
Evenings were just as magical. Dining at both of the resort’s restaurants was a delight, with every meal crafted to perfection. Little surprises from the staff, like a complimentary cocktail or dessert, added an extra touch of warmth and made the experience even more memorable.
Although we had some minor issues with the internet in our room for 2-3 days, the staff worked tirelessly to fix it. Their hospitality shone through again when they offered us, as an apology, a complimentary hour of massage for both me and my wife. We hadn’t planned to try their spa, thinking we’d experience massages at the other resorts we’d visit, but it would’ve been such a shame if we hadn’t accepted this gift. The massage was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced – the soothing scent of lemongrass, the gentle breeze, and the calming sound of rain created a truly unique and relaxing atmosphere. If you come here, don’t leave without trying the Aroma Therapy Massage. You won’t be disappointed!

Hotel with really high prices compared to the services offered. It is located about 20 minutes from the center of Ubud (by taxi) and 35 minutes walk (but the road is passable only in daylight), infinity pool not enjoyable because it overlooks a building under construction. The private pool of the room looks on nothing but plants; the water is very cold at any time of day and not heatable. The rooms are spacious and tasteful but so damp that the bed seems wet. The breakfast is good, but not buffet style: a choice per guest for different sections and unfortunately anything that does not fall within these (even a simple espresso) you pay extra. Overall mediocre experience. Grab could not be used on departure from the hotel but only as arrival because it was too far away. The only positive note: the kindness shown on the morning of our departure since we were not in shape.

We stayed at Amora 4 nights during our tour in and around Ubud. The property offers incredible views of the jungle; the spacious and clean room with private pool makes the stay very comfortable. Beautiful boutique hotel; kind, super responsive and helpful staff, gorgeous Royal Pool Villa, incredible breakfast with delicious vegan/vegetarian options (served in room if you prefer (or if you have the Royal Pool Villa, you will have your own outdoor private seating area with sink/mini fridge/stovetop)! All in all- a perfect experience! They even arranged a special Vegan tea for us- see pics! I especially loved the way we selected breakfast, a little checklist that you hang outside your villa before 9 pm...select items desired, time and location you want to eat -perfect system! Location-wise, you can walk the Champuhan Ridge trail all the way to the center (est. 20 minutes) -though I would advise daytime only - so you can see! There are a few great little restaurants (Warungs) on the same road if you want a tiny change of scenery without having to go downtown. Balinese massages at Amora were also a great experience (in room is available too if you prefer). Upon our early morning departure, they even prepared take away breakfast boxes for us! So sweet! Would definitely stay again.

This was such an incredible place to stay! Everyone made it so easy for us to enjoy our honeymoon and feel safe, comfortable, and happy. The free breakfast is arguably some of the best food we had around Ubud and the servers were just lovely. Everyone cares about your experience and wants to help whenever possible. They also call taxis for you to go to Ubud center or you can walk, it’s really a perfect location if you want to stay in Ubud and especially for honeymooners or couples. They also did laundry for us for a good price and folded it and dropped it back off very quickly. We loved it and hope we can come back one day!

Absolutely beautiful accommodations just outside of central Ubud. I stayed in the valley pool villa which overlooked the jungle below and was able to catch the edge of the sunrise every single day. Breakfast was delicious and could be served either in the restaurant or in your room - I opted for the room as it was lovely to dine by the pool. Rooms were clean and had thoughtful touches like the flower arrangement upon arrival. Staff were great and accommodating as well. The only thing I would warn future travelers is that this place is a bit far removed from central Ubud - I opted to walk the Campuhan Ridge walk to get into town (about 20-25 minutes walking distance to Jalan Raya Ubud) and did not call for Gojek or taxis during my stay. You'll need your phone flashlight or an actual flashlight if you are to do this at night since the ridge walk is not lit. But the accommodations were well worth the trek into town hence I would not hesitate to recommend this place if you're up for the walk and want to stay in a stunning villa with your own private pool.

We loved our time at Amora. The staff were all smiles and very helpful with arranging scooter hire, drivers, massages. Our room was lovely and the food at the restaurant was generous and delicious. We enjoyed eating only from the local Balinese food options and the views from the restaurant are stunning.
We loved the location, in a quieter part of town (still with plenty of warungs and restaurants in walking distance) and being so close to the Campuhan ridge walk into the busier part of town.
