A chance to spend a night or 2 in a 1640's ex-farmhouse, situated 1 mile from the edge of the Cathedral city of Canterbury. 5 mins drive/ 30 minutes walk. All 3 rooms have their own character, they are More cosy & fully equipped with smart TV's & free WiFi. Willow Down is situated in the village HARBLEDOWN, on the outskirts of Canterbury, 2.5 km from University of Kent. Free private parking is available on site. (Accommodation provided on a room only price. Breakfast option is available at an extra cost & can be booked as an option with the room. We are a small b&b & as such no evening meals provided. We are not licenced so do not have a bar) We do however have a lovely gastro pub on our doorstep, only 2 minutes by car/10 minute walk away. Dogs are more than welcome in the King studio room only which has direct access to the garden (steps involved) (Family has pet dogs) Some rooms feature a seating area where you can relax. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hair dryer. A flat-screen smart TV in all rooms, digital radio. Tea & coffee facilities. Towels & linens provided. Canterbury Cathedral is 2.9 km from Willow Down, while Howletts Wild Animal Park is 6 km from the property. Whitstable & the coast is less than 7 miles away. Less

There is a bus - but I'm not sure how frequent it is. It's a beautiful walk - about 20/25 minutes into town. A £7 cab ride if needed. It's a GORGEOUS B&B and the hosts are absolutely lovely and very helpful! Have a wonderful... More
