Fabulous camp, lovely couple running the camp. Thanx Rueben & Alice. Us 4 recycled teenagers (gold carders) really enjoy out stay. Relaxing, clean, just wonderful. Will recommend. Not far to the beach

This is a great holiday park to stay at. The facilities are very clean, it is very safe for children of all ages, there is plenty of room and the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. Having visited a number of holiday parks, this is definitely up there with the best. Highly recommended.

We spent a night there in late October and we virtually had the park to ourselves. The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Clean kitchen and good shower in the bathrooms. Strong wifi. A short walk to the beach. Tasty fish and chips at a shack at beach entrance.

Himatangi Beach Holiday Park is kept to a very high standard, the communal areas are spotlessly clean,eg kitchen, showers, laundry . Staff are very friendly and helpful ,the relieving manager was very professional in her manner .and importantly remembered our names which put a nice touch on our stay. A pleasant camp to stay in and close to beach, shop, and Cossie Club...

We had the most fabulous long weekend there. The facilities are very clean and tidy and the showers are not timed. They are dog friendly and have huge grounds just behind the camping grounds to let your dog run. There seem to be a lot of permanent members. The beautiful beach is within 5 minutes walking distance. The dairy down...

Sounds like your dog enjoyed the puddle as much as my children, it is definitely on the list of things to do, I have put it off as I enjoy watching the kids faces as they discover the puddle after a huge downpour. But ultimately it is a hazard, thank you for your point.

First time back to himatangi holiday park since the new owners had taken over. The facilities are still first class and kept clean and tidy, with Palmerston North only 30 minutes away for supply's or a day trip if wet. The local cossy club is very popular and worth a visit for dinner, although the pricing might reflect Michelin star...

Thank you Alice and Reuben for a great stay. The place was spotless. The kitchen cabins were great and we could take the dogs in the cabins. So close to the beach, store and Cosi club. Highly recommend. See you again soon.

Thanks, we are approx 300 meters from the beach, although close, we don't get a sea view due to the large sand dunes, which in themselves are a beauty.

Last weekend we had the pleasure of staying at the Himatangi Beach Holiday Park. Living in Palmerston North we were looking for an affordable get away to stay at an celebrate my wifes 40th birthday. Just down the road is a beautiful country style community hall on the beach that held the 40th birthday party. With the holiday park so...
