Hotel Behar is located in the very center of Gorazde on the bank of Drina river. The hotel has it's own parking. The room I stayed in was decent. Everything was clean. The restaurant has a view of the river and in nice weather it's nice to sit on the terrace. Food in the restaurant is average. Unlike the usual...

Stayed at the Behar for one night. Upon arrival spotted a few ants on the floor but did not immediately recognize the magnitude. Room was simple but seemed to be clean in general. When going to bed I discovered a sort of "ant highway" also running through my bed and decided to ask for a new room (first time I've...

This hotel is on a perfect location, overlooking the walking bridge, river Drina, and the best looking part of town. Rooms are decent size and they also offer exclusive room where Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt stayed. Staff is very friendly and professional. In my opinion this is THE best place to stay in when visiting Gorazde. You will not...

This hotel is the only one in town, so, you don't really have much to choose from. Fortunately, it is well managed by the family that runs it. It is obvious that reinvestment has been made recently to modernize the rooms. But, the rooms are still very simple and spartan (no desk, no decor, basically just a bed and a...

I just returned from Gorazde Bosnia. I lived there 14 years ago for a short time and felt it was time to visit again. I was pleased to see the improvements in the area especially the Behar Hotel. Although when I tried to get reservations via internet no one responded back. I learned later that person in charge of reservations...

Nice view of the river and mosque. Very friendly staff who are always happy to help and constantly smiling. Rooms are nothing special but are clean. Breakfast is good. Parking is free. There is no air conditioning, but you do get a small breeze from the river. The town itself is small with so many friendly faces. Go to Cafe...

Whilst Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stayed here in 2010, it was because there's really nowhere else to stay in this part of the country. Thankfully, this hotel isn't bad - truly a 3 star hotel that's run efficiently and with a smile. My room was quite spacious, plenty of natural light and clean. The bathroom was perfunctory. The main...

This is a decent hotel in place where it is difficult to find lodging in general. The hotel is a smoking hotel, they do not have non-smoking rooms. So if you are sensitive or allergic, you may have to travel some more. Apart from the thick smoke, the hotel is clean and nice. Rooms are very spartan, a bed, small...

“Eat out - there are a lot of restaurants in town, everything is in walking distance.”

“Rooms to the river seem to be more quiet”
of 5 bubbles fhoffmannb, 25 Jun 2016 | Read review
“I would imagine that the rooms are fairly quiet as the construction of places is still done in the old way which makes it nice. I would avoid the street side if possible, even though I was not a guest at the hotel, and used only their services. It is common for the town people to come out at night and visit, sit and drink coffee into the wee hours.”
