This hotel stands on a hill overlooking beautiful town of Stykkisholmur, spectacular view from our room. We got newly refurbish room with one of the best beds I have ever slept in a hotel. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated. In the night you don't hear a sound from the outside it is amazing. We had a dinner...

Room was comfortable and convenient. Icelandic hotels seem to like to open the shower to the whole bathroom making the floor considerably wet after showering. The worst part was the really bad wifi. It was free when I could access it. I got better wifi in the town's open wifi than at the hotel! A bit of a corporate and...

The hotel has a great location with great views on the hill. Stayed for 2 nights and found it to be a very nice place. Enough room for our things and some the best blackout curtains to shield the midnight sun. Breakfast was good. Would stay there again.

We stayed here one night prior to catching the ferry to Flatay Island. The rooms are typical modern European style. The bathroom is small by American standards but the accommodations are perfectly fine for one night's stay. Overnight was nice and quiet.

Everything smells mediocracy. Rooms are simple and clean with a basic bathroom. Quilt are to short for a normal size dutch guy. The bar is not a cozy place and you always need to ring to get staff to order some drinks when it's later in the evening. In this mediocracy there was a very good dinner which I didn't...

The hotel looks quite nice on the inside and the rooms were clean and pretty, but the overall impression made me disappointed of this hotel. First, we rented a double room and a three person room. The room for 3 people was a bit more expensive, but it was the same size as the double room only with one extra...

In a small fishing village....room was very clean and nicely decorated...yes to the small bathroom...but...enough already of people complaining about the small European bathrooms with no shelf space and showers which either have just a curtain or a this pull out wall.....it is what it is and one just has to learn how to handle that...food at the restaurant was...

First off, I want to say that you can golf there. They have clubs for free. My husband started at 9:30 and came back around 11:30 p.m. He was so delighted that it was available. Imagine, golfing at night. Some went on the bird watching boat. I wish we had gone w/ the Gate One group as they saw Puffins....

This is a very decent hotel - nice but not fancy. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good. They handle tour groups well. We sat down at the same time as a tour group but we were served promptly and were not ignored. If you're a late riser, be aware that they stop re-stocking the...
