Good rooms lots of space. Twin beds together. Very good wifi. Good tv selection, shower below average, hotel staff friendly, good restaurant with excellent breakfast and delicious dinner. This is one of the better hotels during our stay in Iceland.

Our room was more spacious than some, double beds available, small but functional and clean bathroom. Most memorable was the fabulous lamb chop dinner. Very upscale lobby for relaxing. A short walk to a variety store and Icewear gift and clothing store. Great view of the 3 trolls.

We got a nice double room with extra mattresses for the kids. Edda hotels are summer hotels, a bit quaint but convenient when traveling around Iceland and it´s to cold or rainy to set up a tent. Breakfast is not included. We love staying there.

Oh Iceland, you have a way to go still with offering cozy accommodation and the Edda at Vik is typical of the characterless places you need to stay in ( unless you want to spend a fortune. It even then you might struggle finding anything) Edda Vik is clean, practical and wholly charmless. looks a bit like an Ibis hotel....

Hotel Edda is part of the Icelandair chain. You check in in a nice modern hotel. We were surprised to be sent to a cottage next door for our accommodation since there was nothing in our reservation to indicate a cottage. The setting was spectacular, but the room was poor. The shower took more than 2 hands to operate because...

We are Americans and are used to larger rooms with "Real" bathrooms. The hotel is in an excellent location just in front of the IslandicAir hotel and the dining room is shared between the two hotels. Our breakfast which was served buffet style included smoked salmon, herring, omelettes, lots of break products and fresh fruits. The room was very clean...

We wanted to see black beaches and puffins and we did. So we booked the hotel and got what we paid for. It's not over the top but nothing wrong either. Reception staff was friendly and after not seeing puffins at first she advised us where to go and showed us a map.

The town of Vik is quite beautiful. It’s miniscule but pretty all the same. When coming from the west you wind your way around the mountain and then drive down in to the town. The Hotel Edda is on the left and is connected to the IcelandicAir hotel. Behind is the rising mass of the mountain and ahead is the...

We stayed in the cottages next to the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient -- when I mentioned at the front desk that we would like to use the Wifi, we were given a cottage closest to the hotel and we found the wifi signal to be plenty strong to check email and look up tourist info on the...
