Enjoyed our one night stay here! We had a family house which was so wonderful for us as we were traveling as a group of 5. Great dinner there and a great night's sleep. We left too early to experience breakfast, but I'm sure it's great as well!

We had a room with a double bed & ensuite bathroom. Room was very clean, had great pillows, not huge but spacious enough for us. Kettle in the room with coffee & tea. Overall Guesthouse was clean, had a nice atmosphere & the staff was very kind & helpful. Breakfast was included in a very nice dining room with bread,...

stayed in a double room with shared facilities. Guesthouse is located off route 1 in the country side, I enjoyed the more isolated location, horses and sheep outside. Beds were comfortable, nice hot shower and good breakfast in the morning. My one complaint is with the shower. Anytime someone takes a shower, the entire bathroom essentially floods over and needed...

We visited in October and booked a room with private bathroom. We arrived after dark, the guesthouse was about 10 min drive from highway 1. It's very isolated from everything else, pretty much in the middle of nowhere, which could be a nice experience waking up to nice views. The lady at the reception kindly agreed to prepare dinner for...

Our host was very helpful and kind. She had rice cakes to accommodate my gluten free dietary restrictions which was a welcome surprise since there were several homemade jams at breakfast I was dying to try. The rooms are comfortable with excellent showers and even more amazing views of the ocean, pastures, glacier and mountains. The horses will come right...

I have a hard time paying close to $200 when you're getting what is essentially a dorm room that shares a bathroom. The room was clean, but austere with a view of the parking lot. Shared bathroom had shower with plenty of hot water but every time someone showers, the entire bathroom floor gets wet. Breakfast about average for what...

This mini-motel is located 18 minutes west of Vik, amongst the sheep farms. Nice newish units. No TV in room, but there's a large common TV. Breakfast is OK, typical for Iceland. I would not stay here again, just because it is so isolated.

It's located near Vik and was a convenient place for us to stay to explore some of the south sights. Our room was clean and part of the main building. My only complaint was that we could hear some guys talking at 11:00pm out in the sitting area, right next to our room. We had to get up early in...

The place is very nice and not to far from Vik. You can walk along to meet the horses and sheep. The breakfast includes a little bit od everything (waffles too). We run out of soap while taking the shower, I think they should check it up before giving the room to guests.

Comfortable rooms but management was cold and unhelpful. Not family-friendly; we have a four-year-old and when we asked to eat our take-out dinner at the guesthouse, they sent us from dining room to living room before making us eat outside (in the cold). Setting itself is quite pretty but overall, it's overpriced. 15 km to Vik town.
