It was back in April of this year and we, a family of 5, had a real snow blizzard and roads were blocked to and from Seydisfjordur. At the beginning we struggled to found the place as we couldn't believe that it was right on the docks. But then we finally managed and it was magic. From outside it looked...

We booked last minute and it was a great surprise: on the industrial area of the town, inside an old boat factory there's a charming guesthouse with perfectly equipped appartments and rooms. Rough and peculiar outside, lovely and modern inside. The owner also gave us a nice tip for dinner. Not Just an ordinary guesthouse!

Many of the other reviews are very accurate in what they have said. Rooms are comfortable and staff are really pleasant. It is nothing flash but quite comfortable. The shower works very well. The common kitchen area is small but ok. The guesthouse islocated a couple of kilometres out of the main town.

Looks a little odd on the outside, but great inside. Placement on the fjord is beautiful! Nice stroll from town. Room was large, bathroom modern with great shower and thick towels. Dining area was large and had a beautiful, ex-US Navy dining table. Kitchen was a little small for how many users there are. The outside oddities charm you in...

This guesthouse, a former fish processing plant, looks rundown from the outside but once you get inside you realize how charming it is. The outside comes complete with artistic graffiti and views of old fishing machinery. The inside is clean and comfortable with nice size rooms. The cost of this guesthouse is a real deal. Breakfast is not included so...

A strange looking place which really does bring the old saying don't judge a book by its cover to mind. We were greeted and shown the kitchen and the communal area. The inside is very modern looking and the room was very nice with a comfy bed. The shower and toilet facilities are shared between all the rooms in the...

Located about 1km out of town, this place looks pretty weird when you first get there. It looks run-down from the outside, and sits among a bunch of old factories, but it's actually a really nice place to stay. It's right by the water with great mountain views, and they have a really nice kitchen/lounge area with stove, convection oven,...

When I first pulled up to the Guesthouse I was wondering what I had got myself in to, but that all changed very quickly! The buildings are covered in strange but very unique and somehow suiting graffiti, providing a great contrast to the pleasantly finished interior of the buildings. The host was very friendly and helpful in suggesting sights to...

This guesthouse is located a couple of km from the centre of Seydisfjordur, in a building that was formerly accommodation for fish factory workers. From outside, it looks rather peculiar, in particular the surroundings: a kind of abandoned marina, with several nice graffiti. It makes a strong contrast with the guesthouse interior, which is modern, colorful, confortable and cozy. The...

The settings of Nord Marina Guesthouse is definitely unique, it is in an amazing location with great views over the sea and mountains. Seydisfjordur was definitely one of our favourite places in Iceland. The rooms are nicely decorated, clean and warm, bathrooms are modern and Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. The kitchen is equipped but there are only two...
