Before choosing my hotel, I always check if there is a WIFI and if the WIFI is good. There were good comments about that so I booked a room during 5 nights there. The WIFI connexion didn't work well. I had to wait about 10 seconds to load a page.. As I'm self-employed, that's a problem. Except that, the rooms...

Stayed for 5 nights at the CenterHotel Plaza and loved it. Nice hotel, the lobby might be a little dated, but the rooms are nice. Decent little bar right in the lobby. Beds and bathrooms were both good, only complaint would be that I would have preferred a king sized mattress instead of two twins pushed together, but I know...

This hotel is in the touristy area of Reykjavik and only a couple of blocks from the harbor. It's within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and gift shops. A lot of these places are junky and touristy, but if you walk a few blocks away from the hotel, it's not as bad. My hotel room was clean, modern, and...

Location fantastic, close to many pubs, restaurants, walking distance to harbour to get the boats to watch the whales, which was amazing. Easy to get the hop on hop off bus which took us all around Reykjavik. We had a great four days!!!!

We stayed at the Centrehotel Plaza on the first and last nights of our holiday in Iceland. When we arrived one the first day there was a queue waiting to check in at reception and several staff working but they were extremely slow and it took ages to be served. The room that we had on the first night was...

This hotel is a bit expensive, but it is in a superb location. Service is quick and efficient. The lobby looks nice, fancy and welcoming. They have a lovely breakfast buffet as well. An excellent value for the money really. The location cannot be beat once again. You are in the heart of Reykjavik where most of the touristy things...

Very nice and clean hotel. Excellent location, very clean and friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast has a vast selection too. Slight problem that our TV didn't work and we had to switch rooms, but done with very little inconvenience. Recommended.

Just returned from a 4 night stay here and overall we had an enjoyable stay. This hotels location is key- you can walk to most of the main tourist areas/attractions within 30 minutes tops. The central shopping area is just out the front door and straight on. We did change rooms after our first night as the TV wasn't working...

Standard room, standard hotel, super clean. To reach my room I had to cross 4 pattern / colour carpets through various hallways, corridors, stairs up, stairs down to finally reach our room beside the fire escape/ staff entrance which was constantly used, banging and crashing. GASP! Tiny little wafer of a duvet and the shower flooded the bathroom floor and...

This hotel is brilliant value for money. The staff are extremely friendly, the level of service is high and it is spotlessly clean. Breakfast has a very wide selection and we had this included in the price. There was no evening meal included but we were given 20% discount at the sister hotels that are very local, where you are...
