This hotel is located in the center of the town. Close to the cathedral, Harpa, restaurants, harbor... Excellent location! The daily breakfast was good too. This hotel appears to be made out of several joining buildings. The ones near the bar are nicer and newer rooms. The rooms in the main building where the lobby is located are older and...

We stayed for 4 nights at this centrally located, modern hotel with breakfast included as part of a Secret Escapes break provided by JetSun. Based upon previous mixed reviews, I was concerned about the room we would be allocated but our standard room (506) was okay and in a quiet location. It was a good size and overlooked some rooftops/...

This hotel has the most centrally located hotel in Reykjavik. Walking distance to the main shopping street of the city (Laugavegur). Check in was easy. Use of room key to access your floor in the elevator. Location of rooms is like in a maze but not hard to find. Leave the key card by the entrance to power on the...

We were supposed to be at Centerhotel Klopp but they overbooked and sent us here. What a great location! Right in the heart of things and close to restaurants, pubs and shopping, plus a bus stop out front. The lobby area is very Scandinavian-looking with a lot of space (think Ikea furniture). The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful,...

I booked two nights standard double room through the hotel website. When I arrived they arranged room 333 for us. When I reached the room after managing our luggage through a flight of stairs we were horrified to see our very very small attic room. The slanting beam was so low that I couldn't sit straight on the side of...

As has been said by many previous reviewers, the location of this hotel is unbeatable! There are literally dozens of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. In fact, our favourite places (The Microbrewery, Saeta Svind and Drunken Rabbit) were approximately 30 seconds walk from the front door! The exterior of the hotel is quite basic but it's Scandi-style...

The room was good, overall a good size. Beds and pillows were pretty comfortable. The hot water did have a sulfur smell - though several hotels seem to have the smell in the water. Breakfast had a pretty good selection of food. Several points of the day are very busy as people are coming in and out all at once....

Overall the hotel worked for me; it was central to sightseeing and shopping in Reykjavik. The room was large, but very basic; plastic chairs, a small table and a mini bar, which I did not explore. Two small wine bottles were sitting out with glasses, priced outrageously. To be fair, alcohol is extremely expensive in Iceland. Take advantage of purchasing...

Made very welcome on arrival. Wonder room and great breakfast. Staff were very helpful, from start to finish. Happy hour was 14.00 - 16.00 hours. With beers 2 for 1. And is situated in the centre of Reykjavik. With easy walking to all areas.

Great location for all the bars and Nightlife, restaurants etc. Helpful staff, able to book excursions etc, best to book before you go as some do get booked up well in advance, especially the Blue Lagoon
