Great little hotel near center of town, nice breakfast, washer and dryer available. Girls at desk we're fun and willing to help. All tours picked us up at door. Inexpensive. Near grocery store. Walking distance to Harpa, nightlife.

We enjoyed every minute there. Large split level room with comfy beds. Nice view, room 318, and even british tv channels. Breakfast was tasty, good coffee and the best- home made cake in the afternoons. Friends staff that made us feel like at home.

Spent a night here at the end of our Iceland trip. Arrived very early after driving for almost 200kms straight. The lady at reception was kind enough to accomodate us and let us stay in the lounge until breakfast was ready. She was also kind enough to allow us to have our breakfast for the next day be taken on...

Our family stay included 3 young children. The hotel room had a loft which accommodated 2 adults and the kids. The lower level had 2 beds, a desk, closet, and bath. It was crowded, but there was a sitting area on the floor, a small play area for the kids, and off the lobby, a small tv area. The staff...

We stayed 5 nights here. Great location. Close to city centre. Breakfast was brilliant. In such an expensive city it was great to have a meal included. Also free tea and coffee and cake available in afternoons was a lovely retreat after a busy day out and about. Staff were so helpful and friendly. There is a wonderful atmosphere in...

The staff was extremely kind and welcoming. The hotel itself is a tad bit on the older side, but they include complimentary breakfast each day and warm drinks are always in the breakfast area. Cake is also put out in late afternoon. We found eating to be very expensive (like pretty much everything in Iceland) in Reykjavik, even more so...

We stayed at Hotel Orkin on our first and last night of our trip to Iceland (in between we were on a tour of the South Coast). The hotel is on the outskirts of the downtown area, its about half a mile or a little more to be in the middle of downtown and a easy walk to the main...
